First things first today: The Criterion Collection has just announced their April Blu-ray and 4K release slate and—as always—it’s another great list of titles. True Lies and The Abyss remain two of the most high profile films of the last few decades to still not have a Blu-ray release. Our sources are telling us to expect the latter, with Cameron’s original Avatar (2009) being a more likely 2022 4K UHD release in the run-up to the sequel’s December theatrical release.
