Second, he is in control of his body: He is strong and healthy enough to command the respect of other men and support his family for years to come. The remaining 3 sections of the book are essentially a collection of "I think"s and poor understanding of history and sociology. It is nearly impossible to take his advice on women seriously as he has no authority in the area and his understanding of homosexuality is even more wishy-washy. The question of what it means to be a strong man is something I have been dealing for a while now. The first book that I got into for that topic was the way of the superior man, then the rational male and now this book by Stefan. I love how he integrated many different elements like the history of men, politics, spirituality, psychology and more .. maybe my favourite book so far and highly recommend for any man or women to get a clear understanding of how important good man are for a better world and how we can become or create better men.

Why not 5 stars? Well I took 35-45 days to read it and though I appreciate the author's abandon of words and 35 long chapters, it took me a while to finish it. I have finished books twice the size of this one in roughly the same time. So that's why. Also there are a little too many quotes. If you want to be strong, it is time to rise up, this is your time to seize everything you have ever wanted. Such rampant weakness has created a huge gap in the market for you to fill, but it can only be filled by strength. I have read the book in its entirety without skipping a single chapter and I have to say, I was intrigued and inspired by the concepts explained in the book until the author started to make outrageous claims about Islam and Muhammad (pbuh). I really hate the fact that aarino polluted stoicism in this book which any ancient philosopher would not would advise against some of these things.

All young men should be exposed to these chapters. It’s a refreshing reminder of the harsh realities of human life. But there is hope. While he clearly expresses that weak men are a problem, he does not seem to believe that a real man would understand that there are limits to the 'alpha male' attitude that separate a strong man and a tyrant. By that I mean that the author would likely consider Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Mugabe etc. as 'real men'. This book is by far, the greatest book i have ever read. It is a total sum of every thing that i have read so far, but it is far beyond that. It is absolutely necessary for every man to read this book, and reevaluate themselves, and then read it again and again.Although I sympathize with some of the author's ideas for entirely different reasons, the entire scientifical foundation of this book (including data, history, philosophy, etc.) is 2/10 at best. Another critique is that some issues portrayed in this book are only marginally existent and even the author is a victim of media amplifying certain issues (e.g. 1 case in 20.000.000 cases being portrayed as a norm and not an exception). The whole book (way too long) is a mosaic of anecdotes aimed to get a easy consent, he raises some argument already dear to the right wing community.
