To the overweight woman, he says "Fatty! You're supposed to eat the things in the fridge, not eat the fridge as well!" Mr. Rude is published as Monsieur Mal-Élevé in French, Don Grosero in Spanish, O Κύριος Αγενής in Greek, Senhor Rude in Portuguese, and 粗魯先生 in Mandarin. The Mr Men and Little Miss characters remain a cultural phenomenon, whose impact is felt far beyond the nursery bookshelf.' The Telegraph -
