The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max vape kit is a robust yet compact sub-ohm vape, designed with portability in mind. Its 2800mAh built-in battery supports plenty of vaping before needing to be recharged and thanks to the variable 5-80W power output, you can choose a level of vapour that suits you. It also means that while the included GTX coils can support DTL (Direct To Lung) and RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping, the kit also works with MTL (Mouth To Lung) coils from the same range. The included Luxe XR pods combine the function of a tank with the simplicity of a pod. A top-filling design makes refilling them straightforward, as you don’t have to detach your pod from the device. The replaceable coils mean less waste and a cheaper way of running your kit, while their mesh design improves flavour. Regardless of which coil you choose, both work best with 70% VG e-liquid or higher VG options. Vaporesso have done wonders with this update in the Luxe series. Versatile pods, effective airflow and (in my opinion) flavour that’s pretty much unparalleled when it comes to pod kits. If your Vaporesso Luxe XR Max doesn’t display a timer on the screen when you connect the charging cable, the device’s battery isn’t charging. Follow these steps to determine the cause of the issue. The included VaporessoLUXE XR Max Pod tank is a phenomenal little pod made to accompany the mod.With an easy and mess-free fill holeandand pre-installed coil options this tank is built for maximum flavour and super dense vapeclouds. Coming as a 2ml juice capacity to fit with the EU TPD regulations with 5ml pods available seperately. It is primarily a medium power tank but is suited perfectly for mouth-to-lung vapersand higher power vapersalike with the array of coil options, wattage control and most importantly an improved anti-leak system.Still – with a coil performance this good, who’s complaining? Not me! RDL Pod (GTX 0.4ohm coil) 26-32W Best 30W The familiar SSS (Store, Saturate, Seal) technology ensures liquid is firmly sealed inside the pods. This will significantly reduce the chance of leakage and recycling condensate. The Luxe XR was released simultaneously, including a MTL pod and replaceable PnP GTX mesh coils. Some would say more versatility for the regular pod user. The Vaporesso Luxe XR and XR Max have similar features, but the Luxe XR has a battery capacity of 1,500 mAh and a maximum power of 40 watts. The Luxe XR is an extremely capable device, but you should choose the Luxe XR Max if you need a device that has better cloud production and can last longer between battery charges. How to Use the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max The coil is very feisty, responding instantly to the fire button. The inhale does carry some warmth but it’s really where the sweetness of the vape develops.
Secondly, the connector itself isn’t recessed enough for my personal liking. It’ll probably stand the test of time but could also be prone to accidental damage. The three different Vaporesso Luxe XR pod options cater for all vaping styles, DTL, RDL and MTL, using the compatible Vaporesso GTX coils for each pod type. DTL Pod (Included with kit) The Vaporesso Luxe XR pod uses a simple press-fit system for coil replacements, so replacing the coil takes just seconds. Remove the pod from the Luxe XR Max and flip it over. On the underside of the pod, you’ll see the circular base of the coil. Grasp the coil and pull it out of the hole. Push a new coil into the hole, making sure that it’s fully seated. After you fill the pod, don’t forget to wait at least five minutes before using the coil. How to Vape with the Vaporesso Luxe XR MaxPress the fire button 4 times to enter the options screen. Use the up or down arrow on the touch panel to toggle between LED on/off, reset puff counter, Smart mode on/off or to exit options. Use the fire button to activate an option. This is practically the same device as the LUXE X, out of which I got a little more mAh during my testing. But batteries don’t all perform identically to each other, so realistically expect about 1150-1250 mAh out of this device—which is still 2-3 times as much as a standard MTL-only pod would give you. After you’ve Vaporesso Luxe XR Max from its box, you should charge the device before using it for the first time. To do that, use the included USB-C cable to connect the Luxe XR Max to your computer. When you do this, the device’s screen should light up and display the estimated time remaining until the battery is fully charged. When the battery is fully charged, you can disconnect the device from your computer. How to Fill the Vaporesso Luxe XR Pod If your Vaporesso Luxe XR Max isn’t doing anything when you press the fire button, the solution may be simple. Here’s what you should do. Instead of fixed airflow we now get an adjustable airflow toggle built into the side of the battery. Expect to be fine tuning airflow restrictions this time.
Please note: It’s best to replace a coil when E-liquid levels are at a bare minimum. It can get a bit messy otherwise! How To Fill the Pod The inhale is smooth and turbulence free but carries a moderate amount of noise. That’s to be expected with airflow wide open. For some reason Smart mode allowed me to vape up to 75W so I gave it a whirl. It didn’t faze the coil at all, even with regular chain vaping. Extended inhales were still possible with no signs of a dry hit and flavour and vapour production were unaffected. Although in close proximity to one another they work surprisingly well and sensitive to the slightest of touch. Futuristic pulsing colour LEDs on Vaporesso Luxe XR MAX Pod section Beginning vapers might be a bit put off by the wide array of options that the Luxe XR Max offers and may potentially be happier with a smaller and simpler device. One of the best features that this device has for beginners, though, is the fact that it works with the pods for the Vaporesso Luxe X – which have built-in coils. If you’re new to vaping and are willing to take a few minutes to learn how to use the device, you might be very happy with the Luxe XR Max because you can switch from the simpler Luxe X pods to the most complicated XR pods whenever you’re ready without buying a different device. Yet positioning the toggle mid way made a huge difference. Airflow restriction increases to around 50% and a direct lung vape is instantly replaced by a semi restrictive one. The ability to adjust the wattage turned out to be a huge pro over the original, even simple 5 watt increments changed the vape quality to suit my tastes more, decreasing a few watts will also prolong the coils lifespan.
