A spacious cage for small-sized rodents, resembling hamsters, degus, mice, and different small animals, a great welfare space in additional class to your rodent It's easy to build, I am not a good builder, honestly, a bookshelf is a challenge lol but it's like a puzzle just snaps together. The silicone bands are easy enough to snap it together, I am appreciative of anything that I don't need a tool for. These don’t seem quite as hard as the Whimzees, but my hamsters like them! Medium would be better if you had a robo or a dwarf hamster but for your Syrians (esp the females) get the large. It's worth the extra space. It's SO DEEP, you can fill so much bedding in it. For you hammy to be it's happiest, you want to have 6 to 10 inches of bedding (they love more if you've got it!) and in this cage you can provide that easily.

He's a little over a year old and I think he's in love with this new enclosure. I'd have to say he probably has right at a foot of bedding to burrow in, and multiple other niteangel products (like their multi-chamber burrow hides or large dust bath) can fit within it, as well as his large wheel. The cage high completely attuned to the cage to make sure an excellent residing setting inside. Not good for food, food dishes need to be larger. I’ve been using glass candy dishes I get a goodwill for food. Acrylic bathroom tray- these work great as sand baths! Robos should have a lot of their cage (I’ve heard 1/3) be sand! So you need a nice large space for it and space to put things inside the sand bath (like a hide). I would love a larger sand area but I haven’t found anything quite as nice lookin and convenient. Plus the acrylic is pretty hard to chew (although I don’t find that robos are big chewers anyway!)
