It's a solid track, and it is a step up from the Atmos accompaniment available on Disney+, but the gap is again not sizeable enough to prove definitive for all, particularly with the moderately lacking LFE element which persists - to varying degrees - on most of their releases. As far as my mentioning of the DCU above, I as well enjoy their movies too and can tell a difference in them vs MCU.

Well, here’s an odd day but I'm finding this 1080p Blu-ray transfer is actually a better overall viewing experience than the 4K disc.The film's technical structure lacks originality too; it's so ardently adhered to Marvel stylings that it cannot, visually, find its own identity.

The movie looks great on this format, reaching what looks like near peak efficiency for textural output and overall image sharpness. There's a natural color presence with lovely primaries, deep inky blacks, and fine costume details without it looking just oppressively dark.While the 2160p disc transfer provides much better finely-tuned details, and for some big sequences a more nuanced color palette, this disc doesn’t have to contend with a frustratingly dark HDR10 grade. both pull them together and draw them apart, all the while making various comments on the world around them. Zhao's influence has clearly informed the choice of natural environments, beachfronts, jungles and so forth, with even the signature costumes the lead characters wear often feeling almost like an organic extension of Ancient Greek and Egyptian robes, obviously imbued by futuristic notes.
