Thanks for the info, but sadly Noctua is not available here, might try to get dark rock pro 4 but it's hard to find, Will consider my options before the end of the month. This was mounted in my Thermaltake Core P90 Open Air case with an ambient temperature of around 76 degrees Fahrenheit, 24. cores in one CCX with that power usage(120-140w) in very small peripheral area and most coolers are optimized for cooling the center so that doesn't help either. The hardware is slipped in between the fans and the radiator, and the wiring is found on top of the tubing. The tubing is connected to the radiator via straight fittings, and the same composite plastic rings hold the tubing in place. I was looking at the objective difference in actual temperatures which isn't very significant in actual performance gains which might be what this person is looking for.And 2) yeah you're right there are even other bottlenecks in the system which can make a bigger surface area and fan even less significant of a change.

Now I don't know if CAM affects this when its minimized or it needs to be open on desktop to prevent the CPU from doing so.
