About this deal

When Ellyssa learns of the plan for complete genocide of the human race, to be replaced by perfect clones, she runs away from the Center, located in Chicago, and heads for Kansas City based on the mental cry of a prisoner. They remind us what it means to count on others and to let down our guard so we can be a more complete person.

If a person needs to hide from their own feelings, it’s a simple matter to slip the right words between themselves and the experience, like a screen that muffles and distorts. This book is more a case of what the world would be like if Hitler had been successful in creating his "perfect" Aryan race. I am naturally a massive fan of Dystopia novels so I couldn't wait to read Perfection from the first moment that I heard of it. It was so interesting to watch her throw away everything she thought she knew and open up to new ideals. I believe this is going to be a more prominent part of the story inthe sequel, and maybe we'll find out more about Woody, which will make him different from Rein, and maybe then I can pick a team.

Julie Metz’s life changed forever on one ordinary January afternoon when her husband, Henry, collapsed on the kitchen floor and died in her arms. Portals can trace its history back to Henri Portal, a refugee from France who settled at Bere Mill on the River Test in Hampshire in 1712 with a number of other Huguenot papermakers. But with her Father hunting her and wanting his perfect creation back can she keep her new found family safe? I know there were other chapters that included Detective Peterson, but they could have been told from her POV as well. Like Douglas, I’ve been taken up to the top of a major bridge under construction in Sydney, and was rooted to the spot by vertigo.

There's no denying this world to be a post war society filled with the ideas that there is a superior race and all other races must be destroyed. You can watch back a panel event about perfectionism featuring Thomas Curran, “The Power of Good Enough”, held during LSE Festival in June 2023. I loved experiencing everything through their eyes as they realized they had feelings for each other.

What does the novel suggest about the kind of person who flourishes in an urban environment as opposed to a rural one? Certain bits of vocabulary—wagga, chooks, devon and dunnies, for instance—remind us of this unfamiliarity. There are a few time in my possible haste and excitement to read that I suddenly didn't know who was talking and/or where they were.
