As it was many years ago since I last the film I had actually forgot about it until a friend of mine was talking about it, funily enough only last week.

You, Me and Marley is a BBC2 television drama directed by Richard Spence and starring Marc O'Shea, Bronagh Gallagher, Michael Liebmann, and Michael Gregory. Jenny and John have a belated honeymoon in Ireland, leaving Marley at home, under a young woman's care.The gang, led by ace thief Sean (Marc O'Shea), is connected with the IRA but couldn't care less about the group's politics.
