it opens sweet but not overly sweet, with a distinct raspberry and some other tropical note thats isnt announced, it just smells JUICY. Packed full of happiness, spark and delicious aroma, the scent is, like a fruit poised to fall from the branch, utterly irresistible. In its more recent creations, the brand adopted a more classical style, leaving its younger audience behind. Because Its You stays smelling fresh and fruity for the majority of its development, but then after about 3 hours, something interesting happens; rose! Rose is listed as a note but frankly I don't get any rose from this at all; perhaps the lightest traces of rose and geranium combined.

Used this perfume after my night shift at the hospital: lifted my mood, added a healthy dose of sweet and fruity. I like to wear this in rainy, gloomy weather for some reason but I'm looking forward to try it in summer evenings! Edited: okay, after wearing this a few more times, the performance is better than I originally thought. This is the 2nd fragrance I've tried from Emporio Armani, and my impression is that this side of the Armani business is not quite as polished as the main Giorgio Armani house. Fast forward to me now getting a decant and I don't really pick out raspberry, it's a dark red fruit to me and jammy boozy rose.Slowly but surely, I was beginning to enjoy this sweet raspberry-rose cloud forming around me on the days that I used Because It's You. That citrusy top with the raspberry is really nice and that musky/vanilla/rose blend in the drydown is so good. But at the moment I'm trying out all my samples, among them one of Because It's You (really, that name, what were they thinking? I was not expecting anything more from this perfume besides that initial blast of fruity deliciousness, so imagine my surprise when I discovered Because It's You is the perfect blend of fruitiness, warmth, and freshness.

I had this perfume in my house such a long time and didnt gave it a chance because the bottle looked so old-fashion to me and I really thought it would be some kind of vintage boring musky perfume, but not at all, the scent is totally the opposite of how the bottle looks like. If you don't like rose and come across this fragrance, I urge you to sample it anyway, it really is beautiful. Created for the young and tantalizing Armani Because It’s You sparkles with delicious irresistibility. So whilst it is nice and likeable enough, it isn't memorable, and I definitely would not consider this a signature or statement perfume in my collection. However, as it warms up to your skin, it gradually transforms into a beautiful, beautiful vanilla scent.

The plain boring bottle, the silly name and the marketing together with the male version, evoking images of annoying couples presenting their love to anyone who doesn't care - all very unappealing. Definitely synthetic and could be headache inducing, and this stuff really fills the room with only a few sprays.
