Depending on the power of your microwave your bottle can be sterilised in as little as 2 minutes and at most 6 minutes. I have tried both methods and they are both so quick and easy, I think the travel steriliser is a fabulous idea and after the fiasco we had at my mums the other week I did not want to be caught out like that again and so as we spend the most time at my mums at the moment the travel steriliser is taken there every time, along with extra baby milk. e. any bottle but the extra-large Dr Brown’s, and also managed to fit all her breast pump parts in it easily (separately, not at the same time).

After breastfeeding my daughter for a few months, we decided to try giving her a bottle or two a day. While sterilising time is relatively quick, it would be great if there was a slightly bigger version which would accommodate 2 bottles at once in the solution for families who have twins/triplets etc. Used by health professionals on maternity wards, the Milton Cold Water method of sterilising is effective within 15 mins.With this travel steriliser, you can sterilise bottles wherever you are because there are two methods available, either hot or cold sterilisation. It has dual purpose functionality, sterilising not only bottles but teething toys, pacifiers and other small bits – in the microwave or with cold water and a tablet. And some small plastic tongs would also be good to get the bottle out with it if wanting it while it is still a little hot. Bottles or whatever you are sterilising will stay sterile for 24 hours after the initial sterilising process and it is BPA free. As well as safely sterilising most makes and sizes of bottles, the new Milton Solo can also be used to sterilise small baby equipment such as teethers and plastic toys.

The steriliser instructions were very easy to follow and understand for both the cold water part and the microwave part.
