i’m not getting the killer longevity everyone mentions, i apply it before work and when i get home eight hours later i can only smell it if i shove my nose into my arm.

Mostly I used it with Rasasi's Junoon Leather (a beast performer), Tom Ford Oud Wood (not the PB line - grey label, terrible performer), and Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum (also not a good performer) I can say it helps create an oudy fresh spicy sweet and masculine scent bubble with really good projection with each of those. If I had to say which season this would be most compatible with / reminds me of then - autumn definitely, and winter.

This is not something you would wear to brunch on a summer morning, it's not a casual everyday scent, it's not a "sexy" scent to wear on date night or clubbing, it's not an office scent because of how strong the scent is, I don't know where this fits in. Whenever you feel like wearing a powerfull Oud fragrance, but want it well behaved and not disturbing your fellow common wearer and lover of citrus scents, you may well elect Ameer Al Oudh as one of your favourites fragrances. This initial impression is beautifully complemented by a subtle hint of spiced freshness, adding a layer of complexity and intrigue to the fragrance's opening act.

Some might argue it smells a little bit 'middle-eastern' but the vanilla notes took care of it and makes the perfume even more balanced. and I can say that they might live in neighboring suburbs, but they most certainly do not live on the same street. Even the scent feels warm to my nose and there is this uncanny wood smoke aftersmell/nosefeel when I exhale.Hats off to Lattafa for such a great perfume, Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud will do nicely for the upcoming winter. Both the agarwood incense and Ameer Al Oudh, for me, smells like (ha ha) freshly made peanut butter fudge, though it does also have a spicey hint to it! What I love most is smelling it in the morning when I wake up from bed, I don't know why but there's something addictive about the smell of leather and oud together.
