Like almost everything at the amusement park, the LEGOLAND Hotel is a full of LEGO-inspired designs (and plenty of actual LEGO bricks, minifigures, and models)! For play features, I was delighted to discover that the back of the Mystery Machine opens up in a very doll-house like manner to reveal a tightly designed interiors with plenty of cool little Easter Eggs. It includes the The Mystery Machine, a haunted tree and Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, and a zombie minifigure. the inclusion of an enormous replica of Scooby Doo’s name tag that acts as a platform for the five minifigures: Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Fred.There are 2 double sided step by step building guides required to build the mystery machine and the tree. Will Scooby-Doo, Fred and Shaggy avoid getting trapped in the branches of the spooky tree and reach the van in time? The Mystery Machine is an outstanding set, radiating with the warmth of nostalgia that’s enhanced by its great design and execution.

To kick off my series of LEGO Scooby Doo reviews, I’ve selected one of the standout sets of the theme – 75902 The Mystery Machine as the first set to review! Fred has a shocked face whereas Shaggy has a slightly quizzical “I don’t think this is a good idea” expression going on, which fit the theme of the set. The lobby is home to a giant wall of minifigures but even more impressive than that is a large LEGO-esque castle in the back of the lobby which doubles as a play area for children. I found it interesting the while cover does not rotated, while the van can be pushed along, it also creates an illusion of the wheels not moving.
