About this deal

It’s not compatible with add-on car seats or carrycots but it’s more stylish and sturdy than classic “umbrella” strollers. The Clic also has a peephole window and vent at the back, which comes with a handy magnetic strip, allowing you to quietly check on your baby whilst they nap. The five new colours – Sage, Roebuck, Magnet, Almond and Space – are all crafted using an anti-crease sustainable jersey fabric woven with yarn crafted from recycled plastic bottles.

With over 140 years’ experience, Silver Cross crafts beautiful, contemporary prams, nursery furniture, babywear and car seats. When it comes to pushing and steering, the Clic serves very well on even surfaces but I felt it did struggle slightly on muddier terrains such as our local park, most likely due to its smaller wheels. At 5ft 10in, I missed the adjustable handlebars of my everyday pram and felt that I was sometimes slightly stooped over the stroller when walking. That even though it’s marketed from newborn upwards, I don’t think the stroller is suitable for babies younger than three or four months old.I’ve had a bad back since giving birth and it was a welcome relief not to have the strain of pushing a heavy pram around. The First Bed Folding Carrycot is suitable for overnight sleeping, with a roomy design and ventilated base. However, it lacks the robustness of a more classic pram and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable bumping it down from the bus onto the kerb. Due to the Clic's lightweight nature, however, she found she was able to carry both her 18-month-old and the stroller at the same time, even without the carry strap.

Known for their heritage, bulkier prams, the Clic preserves the same sleek Silver Cross styling but with a completely different build and chassis to what the brand has previously been known for. Another John Lewis reviewer stated, “The Clic feels a little flimsy for everyday use but perfect as a second pushchair. We now offset all the carbon emissions of our team’s personal and professional lives by planting groves of trees. Suitable from birth to toddler, you can use Clic in lie-flat mode for newborns, while the comfy padded seat can easily be adjusted with one hand as they grow.Like many of you, we had a thought-provoking year, watching the world change before us during the pandemic. If you need help choosing your baby essentials, book a virtual appointment with our team for demonstrations and expert advice. The Silver Cross Clic is an April 2021 release ultra-compact stroller with an elegant, stylish edge. The little wheels are understandably more prone to getting snagged than bigger-wheeled rivals and there’s no suspension per se, but the soft rubber tyres roll smoothly on pavement and soak up smaller bumps nicely. Parent Jennifer took the Clic on holiday and says, “ It went in the cabin overhead storage easily, and when checking our bags in the lady on the Tui desk was very impressed with how well it folded down.

Our Dream i-Size and Simplicity Plus infant carriers do, however, offer this option and are compatible with Silver Cross prams and strollers. The Simplifix Isofix Base offers greater convenience, allowing infant carriers to be easily installed and removed from the vehicle. The Silver Cross Clic allows you and your family to travel with ease on those everyday journeys, thanks to the abundance of comfortable and practical features. Whichever you choose, the hood and sun visor fold down to provide SPF50+ rated sun protection, and there’s a raincover included in the box as well. The seat reclines from not-quite-fully-upright to a lie-flat position, and the spring latch makes it easy to lower the seat with one hand, although you’ll need both hands to raise it.Like the rest of the Silver Cross range, the Clic feels well-made and has a classy finish that I was really impressed with. Featuring a simple, one-second fold, built-in shoulder strap and one-hand reclinable seat, Clic is perfect for parents and babies. MFM tester Abi agreed here, claiming it was “without a doubt the easiest pram I have had to steer one-handed”. Suitable from birth to toddler, the Clic is the essential stroller, packed with practical features to make your daily strolls a walk in the park. The adaptors fit at the bottom of the chassis and allow you to attach the tandem seat in the lower position, as well as the pushchair seat or carrycot at the top.
