About this deal

I also like the idea of our main protagonist having the drive, gumption and ethics of a Predator himself, traits needed to showdown an alien. A number of things to notice: the scan breathes new life into the image, has removed all instances of flecks and spots seen in the old Blu-ray, and has been slightly colour shifted to give a more natural and elegant picture that, frankly, blows the 1080 image away. The Predator XB273K offers another feature that one would not expect in a gaming screen: professional-level color accuracy. Digitally there are no compression issues, maybe some blink and you miss it banding in some of the torch lighting in the jungle, while the source is pristine.

Their reluctant leader is Army Ranger sniper Quinn (Boyd Holbrook), whose wife (Yvonne Strahovski) makes a point of listing her estranged husband's decorated military career during a clumsily tacked-on grandiose speech. A few other nitpicks keep it from being a true classic in my book But, all in all, it's a fun flick and I do break it out every now and again for fun. Yes, it's a dub, and yes, it may not make sense for many to watch a movie not in its native language, but there is something jarring about the LA Valley dialogue spouted from some of the characters.Being an action film the track is pretty aggressive and full on, though the few lighter touches add much.

Apparently, the films were updated to 4K UHD for iTunes, but I don't have an Apple 4K set and can't speak to those transfers. HDR aside, gamers will appreciate the inclusion of that reliable 144Hz overclock working in tandem with G-Sync operating from 24-144Hz.Bass it deep and strong, adding impact to gun shots and explosions; but never going wayward or over the top. Brown) across various locations to the non-diegetic iconic tune of the original film, guaranteeing either endless eye-rolling or undeserved gleefulness from a few fans. Arnold Schwarzenegger tackles the lead and as usual, his turn is enjoyable, but not that impressive. For the week that ended on December 29th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Venom remained at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts.
