However, because of its “extendable” storage capabilities the Archeon 25 can effectively DOUBLE in size and storage capacity making it ideal for day hikes, camping trips or even weekend breaks. I guess that fully recycled, ecological products come with a premium but if you are into eco-minded goods, then you probably already know that. A large over-lid zipped pocket has loads of space for hat, gloves, camera etc, but though there's a bit of a flap to keep out the elements this zip isn't water resistant, so that's worth bearing in mind in wet weather.

Although the high rigidity of the frame sheet and generously wide hip belt efficiently transferred load, they limited twisting and side bending, something that could be an issue on aggressive approaches.That makes it very burly, but consider that with a lighter pack, you can load up for a short hike and come in at a total weight just a little bit above this pack's empty weight. While it might be nice for stylish commuters, it lacks the functionality we normally look for in packs we'd recommend to others. The Archeon 25 is an ultra-versatile, tough, stylish pack designed for both everyday and outdoor life. With a wide body-hugging hip belt, and chunky well-sculpted shoulder straps, the back system would not be out of place on a full sized trekking pack, and I'm not surprised to see that it looks the same as the Archeon 70(65)'s. This opens via two zips, folding back like a flap to provide full kit bag-style access to the body of the pack.
