About this deal

As someone who is prone to acne scarring, has chronic dark circles and spends a lot of time trying to minimise her uneven skin tone, it's safe to say I rely heavily on concealer. My skin was very dry and flaky and I found that this product clung to any dry patches — but in all fairness, I found that to happen with most products I tried at that stage. The concealer has a really creamy texture that I found blended really well over my skin and negated the need for foundation. Even though this concealer boasts incredible coverage, it’s not cakey or obvious like you might expect. But considering thousands of acne-prone girls like myself rave about this concealer, I honestly don’t think the ingredients are much to worry about.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer Fair 1 - Superdrug

Okay, I’ve rambled for long enough now — if you’ve got this far (props to you), you probably wanna see this thing in action. Okay, so I know the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is a tried-and-tested classic — but have I ever told you that, in my opinion, it’s the best concealer for acne of all-time? During these changes, no change was made to the shade colouring of our original shades, the only change is the shade name/code and introduction of new shades. In a handy pot, it's super easy to apply—just stick your finger in and dab the creamy formula into the areas you need it most. Collection claim that their Lasting Perfection Concealer is a ‘lightweight, second-skin matte concealer a smooth, crease-free soft base’ and I would say they’re being perfectly legit. With up to 16 hours of waterproof coverage, Lasting Perfection Blemish Concealer keeps your complexion perfectly put and flawless all day long. Okay, my under eyes do look a little cakey here — but that was down to me applying too much powder to dry skin, not the concealer. So to prove to you just how good these concealers are, I've snapped myself in every single one—no primer, no foundation, no other base products at all in fact, just concealer.

I'm confident that I could layer it up to completely disguise them, but I like for my skin to still look natural. When my skin was bad but I didn’t want to wear a thick layer of foundation, I used to wear a primer and then individually conceal my spots with this gem.If I had to use only one makeup product for the rest of my life, I would choose concealer every single time. i bought this to go alongside the foundation and unfortunately it wasn’t for me🥲i bought the lightest shade and it was extremely pink toned, it’s a very thin consistency and it crosses really easily! And that comes from someone who had cystic acne for 10 years — I’m a good concealer tester, let me tell you!

My dark circles and red zits are visibly reduced, though, leaving my complexion looking happy, healthy and glowing. It does a great job of both brightening the under eyes and taking down the redness of big blemishes. Before the new release, I had a routine of mixing Shade 5 (previously shade Fair) and Shade 10 (previously Warm Medium) together.

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer - Boots

The vegan formula is buildable, blendable and effortlessly covers and conceals blemishes and dark circles for a flawlessly smooth base.Spot concealing without a base layer is tricky; if you don’t have the right shade, or if the concealer is cakey, the patches of concealer on your face can look glaringly obvious.
