The film, shot in 1980, comprised performance footage of Madness, The Specials, The Selecter, The Bodysnatchers, the Beat and Bad Manners on tour throughout the United Kingdom. CHR TTF 5004 appears on the slipcase, the gatefold sleeve of the Film Soundtrack and the labels of all 6 sides of the LPs. A soundtrack album of the same name was released the same year, featuring 15 of the songs that were featured in the film.

Later versions of the soundtrack album do not contain the Madness tracks, adding tracks credited to the Special AKA, a later incarnation of the Specials.

Only The Specials and Rico remained as recording artists on the label and at the time the film and its soundtrack were released The Bodysnatchers had split only for some of them to reappear at a later date as The Belle Stars. Also 20 page booklet with essay by Johnny Mains, text of original 1981 press release and biographies of the bands,credits and acknowledgements. It will feature a new Dolby Atmos sound mix supervised by Jerry Dammers and Dermot James (Chrysalis Records). There are differences to the ‘film’ mixes and in the cases of The Selecter and Bad Manners, the recordings are from different concerts.
