The way this story is told in such a raw yet accessible manner with two children, Lowra an orphan raised with privilege and Dikembe or Celestine as he is later known after his name was stolen from him, experiencing being trapped in an attic nearly a century apart but bound by the same secrets really captivates the reader. The way the family was cheering about the contest is similar to how the siblings cheer for a school day from " Snow Bored."

Lola and Daffy being hypocrites by claiming to each other, especially to Porky, that they're irresponsible for the former two's case, not having a driver's license, and the latter's case, having an expired driver's license, when the former two are actually both irresponsible for driving without driver's licenses.Lucy's plan to chain Lola and pretend that she and Lana were split personalities would not actually work, since the librarian saw them together at the library. I think I can do a little more than take a right.I really enjoy Jacqueline Wilsons writing style, I find that she is an author that makes things easy to follow and understand. Putting myself in the shoes of a child reader, I feel like I would understand this book and not struggle to follow any aspects of it. As a child the themes weren't as obvious to me and were in fact very subtle, however as an adult their purpose and importance screamed out to me. Sayangnya, jika orang tua bisa "memaksa" anaknya agar menjadi seperti keinginannya, anak tidak bisa memilih ingin memiliki orang tua yang seperti apa. Mereka tidak bisa memilih ingin memiliki ibu yang pandai memasak dan baik hati bak ibu peri. Mereka juga tidak bisa menghindar dari takdir jika memiliki ayah yang pemabuk, tukang marah, dan ringan tangan. Akhirnya mereka bertiga pun kabur, Nikki, Jayni, dan adik lelaki Jayni, Kenny. Mereka pergi jauh, menuju London. Dengan uang yang banyak hasil menang lotere, mereka bertiga bisa hidup di hotel dan bersenang-senang setiap hari. This category was an easy category to review and subsidise a book for as most novels either have a male or female main character.
