About this deal

Highs are well-presented with good clear and detailed resolution. No sibilance is observed and no harsh peaky instances. The highs has good amount of air distributing a fair amount of space for instruments and vocals. My previous headphones were the Soundmagic E10-Cs which I had used for 2 years and they finally died off because the plastic coating started to break. It took a month after the plastic broke for the bare wire to finally stop working. (Should give you an idea of how well they were built). The iBasso IT00 are a U-shaped set that have better extension at both ends (treble/bass) than the E3000. The IT00’s bass is faster and more textured, with more sub-bass quantity and extension. So one option is longer eartips, or do a spacer mod of some kind (credit to these folks for their posts/pics): Midrange notes are clean with a nice amount of body and sound natural. While there is some inherent warmth from the bass, the BL-03 never sounds congested or muddy. Male vocals have good density and richness without being too forward. Female vocals get some extra zing but aren’t shouty or grating.

In the box, you get four sets of silicone ear tips (plus another set installed on the earphones)‌, the earpieces, the cable, and a canvas bag to store the IEMs in. Kudos to BLON for including a bag even though it isn’t fancy. But it’s better than nothing, which is usually what you get in this price range. Premium audio does not need you to break the bank anymore. Meet the BLON BL-03 in-ear monitor. This earphone uses a 10mm dynamic driver with a solid build and high-end detachable cable. Good day! After 4 days of casual and critical listening, here’s my written review for the Blon BL-07. The “best” BLON yet!Certain parts of the lower registers appear masked and overlaid, bass is one note sounding and not agile enough to keep up when things get busy and fast. Build quality of the earpieces themselves is stellar. I’ve never seen such a sturdy build for an IEM in this price range. The finish on both the mirror and gun-metal finishes is almost flawless and feels nice, smooth and sturdy in the hand. Definitely not some cheap sprayed on finish. The earbuds themselves do have some weight to them as well. This set is light and comfortable, I have used the E3000 for hours upon hours without any discomfort. I don’t detect any driver flex either. Internals

Why 3 stars? Because the accessories don't match up to the quality it offers. This is the first headphone out of hundreds, that required tinkering. The focal Spark were equally good and we're cheaper. For testing purposes, I hooked the BL-03 to my LG‌ V40 with Quad-DAC, and to my iFi Nano iDSD LE DAC/Headphone Amp, playing various TIDAL‌ HIFI and MQA‌ files. U-shaped warm sound signature. Can sometimes sound W or U-shaped on some sources. Soft rumbly bass, recessed or sometimes linear mids, slightly elevated highs.

Features:-

As for a video, please take off the eartips, then play a song and turn up the volume, then put the lens to each side to show the sound difference. So let me put this straight. I am coming from Focal Spark and sr850. Mic on focal went kaput within a few months and both the metal casings popped open last week. For a brand as renowned as focal, the quality turned out really bad. No complains on the sound quality though. Even the mic was really good while it worked. It's just that it worked for only a year. Anyway..

You may receive an “ideal sample” with the aforementioned linear response, or receive a unit that’s similar to the three that I have. It’s all lottery and I cannot guarantee anything. Honestly, it’s amazing how well the BL-03 hold up against earphones costing even almost 20 times as much. The differences are there, however, and they’re undeniable. Final Thoughts The BLON BL-03 are indeed incredible from the perspective of price/performance ratio. Their tuning is not perfectly neutral, but it is definitely remarkable in its balance. Considering they use a single dynamic driver, they’re possibly even more remarkable. That said, I’ve heard people complain the included tips were all too shallow or too narrow to keep the earphones in their ear. If that is an issue for you, it’s not a massive deal since Comply, and Spin Fit both have aftermarket tips that will work. The very short nozzle also means that they won’t go deep inside your ears and will therefore require larger eartips. This may be an issue for both comfort and isolation, as getting a good fit becomes quite difficult. Finding the right eartips may be challenging: in my personal case, I found it difficult to find eartips that provided good seal, as even the large foam tips I usually use proved too small. In the end, the best tips I found were the Dekoni Bulletz. The E3000 are much harder to drive. Isolation on both sets are poor, but the BL-03 are a tinge better in isolation. Vs.
