About this deal

horrovac: I made my own out of some scrap wood I had laying around. Two bars bolted to the wall for bike to stand on and a simple hook to hold it, just long enough so that the pedal does not touch the wall when in highest position. If I were building it now I would make the hook ever so slightly longer (so that the position of the crank isn't that critical) and hinged (so that I can hook it onto the seatpost on different bikes or avoid lights attached to the seatpost). Bike storage just doesn’t come much smaller than the Clug.Oddly named it may be, but the two-part ‘G’ shaped clamp wraps around your tyre and grips just short of the rim so it’s in no danger of damaging anything important, hardware-wise, on your bike.

A key element of the SpaceRail is that it is modular, so you can add bikes with the brand’s rail extension kit as your collection expands.Tire pressure: Please make sure your bike’s tire which would be attached to the plug has sufficient tire pressure. Otherwise; it might end up losing grip by de-attaching itself from the plug. So, this may cause you or your nearby belongings to go through unwanted impairment or damage respectively.

Some reviewers suggest buying your own wall anchor hardware instead of using the hardware provided by the bike storage company. Vertical: Imagine you are riding your bicycle straight up the wall. That's what a vertical wall mount looks like. Some riders fret that this type of wall mount may damage their bike because it suspends the bike by its front or rear tire, but there is no evidence vertical mounting has any adverse effects. A vertical wall mount generally takes up less space than a horizontal unit and tends to work best in a corner where it is less likely to be bumped. Furthermore; when you take your bike for a stroll, the hanger can be folded sideways, to free up previously used space. Wall protection: Your bicycle is not the only item that needs protection. If you are hanging your bike vertically, you will want some sort of guard to prevent the second tire from resting directly on your wall. If your walls are your own (or you have a tolerant landlord), then you have lots of choices in single-bike hangers that mount on the wall, ranging from simple hooks to nicely-styled mouldings that also have room for bits and pieces like lights and gloves.Mounting your bicycle to hang parallel with the wall may look the nicest, but it generally takes up the most space. If you have a large enough closet (and few enough clothes), you could move your clothing to a wardrobe or chest of drawers and mount your bike on a closet wall. He was heavily involved in the mountain bike boom of the late 1980s as a racer, team manager and race promoter, and that led to writing for Mountain Biking UK magazine shortly after its inception. He got the gig by phoning up the editor and telling him the magazine was rubbish and he could do better. Rather than telling him to get lost, MBUK editor Tym Manley called John’s bluff and the rest is history. Below both is a second ledge for stashing accessories. Always there when you grab your bike it’s the perfect home for your multi-tool, levers and pump.
