You might be wondering where the extra power is going, stopping them from reaching the high teens. Well, it’s all in the mic!

The EP400 headphones aren’t over-ear, but simply rest on the sides of your head and provide private audio via bone conduction. Connectivity The EP400’s are tiny and light, but also feature-heavy. Once again, the wireless transmission of 4.2 is more than capable of preserving streamed or online audio, with only high-quality raw audio files needing compression to travel wirelessly.Work out while listening to music, commute in safety, and have fully private listening. The EP735 Bluetooth headphones use the older 40mm driver units and so lose a tiny but of depth and range compared to the EP650’s. This is mostly to facilitate the extra noise cancellation functions without absolutely ruining the battery life by having both. The quality bridges the gap between the EP640 and EP650, with the slightly lower power speakers actually still sounding great because of the noise reduction. The EP636 sports the usual 40mm driver units, but due to the on-ear design they are a little more distant and subdued. The quality is the same, but there is more interference between the source and your ears. The benefits are of course lighter weight, slipping them on / off faster and having awareness of colleagues, traffic, members of the public and important noises in your environment. Bluetooth 4.2 is an important update to the Bluetooth Core Specification with many new features and benefits designed specifically for Bluetooth Smart technology, and and has numerous advantages when comparing to its predecessor, Bluetooth 4.1Starting with a blast from the past, these over-ear headphones are designed with a funky retro style and eye-popping colours. For some of you, that’s enough of a reason right there! Rinse them with water if it is dirty (do not immerse it for more than 5 minutes in water. It is not designed for swimming in a pool or the sea.) It is also excellent on hikes as it is resistant to dust and sand. The purpose of aptX Low Latency is to ensure that Bluetooth enabled devices audio is in sync with video. The introduction of aptX LL reduces latency and improves the users experience by improving end-to-end audio transmission speeds. If you are using high-bitrate HD stereo audio then perhaps consider a higher version of Bluetooth, but outside of the true techies Bluetooth 4.X versions are more than acceptable.
