About this deal

The cable is Zowie’s standard rubber cable, which is pretty flexible and thin. It’s not a shoelace-style cable like some other companies have been putting out recently but I honestly cannot say that I was annoyed by this cable, even after having used multiple of these shoelace mice. It’s not the absolute best cable out there (those lace style cables are undoubtedly more flexible and lighter) but it’s definitely more than decent so you won’t have any real issues with this at all. The scroll wheel on Zowie mice will always be polarizing. Zowie makes competitive gear for competitive FPS/shooter gamers, and the mouse wheel is specifically designed to have fewer and more defined steps when compared to most other gaming mice for that reason. This is fantastic if you need to perform accurate operations (such as selecting a weapon from a whole row of weapons) with your scroll wheel, but the stiffness and overall feel of the wheel definitely won’t please everyone. Purely for gaming this is a good mouse wheel though, and the middle mouse button is easy and satisfying to press. Aside from that (spoiler alert!) I didn’t really find any major differences so if you’ve already read my S2 Divina reviewthis might all seem a bit familiar to you.

Sensor + Weight: The 3360 has always been flawless for me on all mice using it. I'd categorize this mouse as medium weight, while it isn't as light as I'd like it to be it's still a very balanced weight that I never felt was a hindrance, I really like how it feels after installing a paracord. 8/10

One of the things Zowie emphasize in their marketing for this product is that they made this mouse shorter to make vertical aiming easier. That’s a bit of an odd thing to single out to me since that entirely depends on your grip style, but this shorter design doesallow for some space between the mouse and your palm (unless you’re a palm gripper obviously) which can make micro adjustments on the vertical axis easier to do so I can kind of see where they’re coming from. Vertical aim or not: I personally think that this is one of their best shapes yet and I like this shorter, more boxy design better than that of the flatter FK if I had to choose. All in all the S2 is yet another great feeling and fitting Zowie mouse so if you feel like the FK line is perhaps a bit too long and flat for you it can be a great idea to try out the S1 or S2. Buttons and Scroll Wheel I cannot exactly decide which mouse I should use, I mainly play FPS and MOBA’s , I wouldn’t mind keeping 2 mice [One for FPS , one for MOBA] I've been loving the access I've had to so many different kinds of Zowie mice. I started out with large mice thinking my FK1 was too small but after trying some of the smaller mice like the EC2-B and the S2 I definitely prefer the maneuverability I have with these. I should add, that i recently used a mouse finder tool, and when entering the data, three mice came out on top :

Most new (FPS) gaming mice coming from reputable brands have a flawless sensor and the S2 isn’t any different. The S2 houses the 3360 sensor, which perfectly translates every movement you make on your desk to the game without doing any predicting, snappingand so on. No one to blame but yourself (or lag) if you miss that absolutely crucial headshot on the enemy healer, in other words. Hi, I got 8cm by 18cm and using more like palm grip with a bit Claw grip while awping I choosing between the s1 and s2 and need some help. Thanks for the answer. What about the g pro wireless? I do not have a chance to try it in a tech shop in my country -or city at least-. For my hand size and grip styles, that one or the model o could be better? There are some things that aren’t perfect, of course. I don’t particularly like the feeling and look of the coating (particularly after using the mouse) and the scroll wheel could be better, but these are minor annoyances that aren’t so pronounced that they impact my enjoyment of the mouse. Do note that the LOD is a touch over 1.2 millimeters, with currently no way of lowering it, so if that’s something that would bother you it’s important to know this ahead of time.Zowie’s credo when it comes to their gaming products is ‘performance over everything’. The S2 therefore doesn’t have any RGB lighting (except for tiny indicators on the bottom) and it doesn’t require any software at all to use. Everything is done on the mouse itself, and that’s great news for people who are often gaming on the go. Just plug it in and you’re good to go.
