Although the term 'friendly fire' may be relatively new, sadly it has been practiced among believers since the Church was birthed in the Book of Acts. All throughout Christian history we can find God's revival fires being quenched by church leaders, many of whom did so out of ignorance and zeal to 'protect' the Gospel. ISBN 978-1854245977.Though I can’t defend biblically a strict cessationist position (i.e., that the miraculous spiritual gifts have ceased; that they were only for the apostolic age), I still found what I read to be very strange from my limited personal experience. For example, at one point in prison Yun claims to have gone without food or water for 74 days. He believes it was a miracle of God. Yun’s wife, Deling, writes, “At this time (in the early 1980s) we witnessed the greatest number of miracles in our ministry for the Lord. Supernatural visitations, divine healings, and people being delivered of demons were all common occurrences. Some remarkable incidents took place that led multitudes of people to salvation of the cross.” In Kabbalah, before creation began, all that existed was God's Infinite Light. The first stage of creation began when God contracted His Infinite Light to create the vacuum. Then a ray of divine light penetrated the vacuum and the persona of Adam Kadmon was projected into the vacuum. The first stage of Adam Kadmon was in the form of ten concentric circles ( igulim), which emanated from the ray. The ray of light was then enclothed by the anthropomorphic form of Adam Kadmon ( yosher), which is a realm of infinite divine light without vessels, constrained by its potential to create future Existence. Adam Kadmon is sometimes referred to as Adam Ila'a (Aramaic: "upper man") or Adam Elyon (Hebrew: "upper man").

I highly recommend this book." The ironic thing is that Yun's message is really nothing new or revolutionary at all. In fact, it is as old as the Bible. His message is centered on the cross of Jesus Christ, and the victory of faith that comes to those who trust in the Lord, even in the face of great trials and persecution.
