After being knighted, Aristia wears her House uniform and symbol, proving to be a gentleman and the future heiress of Casa Monique. Don't forget she also thought her father was somewhat "unfeeling" but realized he risked his life and household to make her happy. She trained every day, all so that one day, she would stand as an equal beside Crown Prince Ruvellis Kamaludin Shana Castina. In the novels, at the end of the series, Aristia and Ruvellis Kamaludin Shana Castina have three children: He renounces his plans at the last minute. His POV is extremely disturbing. Lots of people actually felt filthy and frightened after reading it. At this point in the novel, I was quite happy to see Allendis disappear from Tia's life for good tbh.It's not the typical, popular, mainstream romance story that pleases everybody. It's not for those who are thirsting for the more popular flowery romance story. I don't think it intends to be one. Not that i hate the more popular story. But it is perfect for those who are looking for a change of pace, who are willing to open their minds to a boarder perspective on things, and those who loves stories that is not bluntly obvious as how things are to be expected. Thus 2nd timeline (2TL) Tia shows her emotions more and Ruve, seeing Tia showing all these emotions and laughing with Karsein and Allen, realizes she is not unfeeling and cold.

Mirkan lu Shana Castina - Ruvellis’s father and the 52nd Emperor of the Castina Empire. He is strict with his son, possibly because Ruvellis is his only child and heir to the throne. I know that many people has been disappointed with the novel ending. Many has also been warn people not to read this manhwa. But, I think this is a great manhwa for those who, like me, enjoys a tragic story with a 'bad ending'. Ipersonally think it's not a 'bad ending' per se. I'll explain this further with how i think about the character development. Ah and concerning Carsein's future wife Princess Lynn(Princia) of Lua is dating his brother after he proposed to her in front of everybody, and they’ll get marry and have a son. So she is not Carsein’s wife. It's probably because she's called Lady of Ras that fans were confused. But she is only Carsein's sister in law. She becomes Tia's first real female friend btw (whitout political motives unlike the "friends" Tia met at the tea party and after that I think I remember she gets closer to Lady Genoa, but with her, the relationship is more because they understand each other). There is the moment in the carriage when in the manhwa Allen kisses Tia's hand. In the novel he kisses her on the lips, while she's sleeping - so unconscious and very much unconsenting.Jieun - In the first timeline, Jieun was his first wife and Empress of the Castina Empire. Not much is known about the details of their relationship, but he appeared affectionate towards Jieun, favouring her over Aristia. In second timeline, Tia realizes she should be more "open" with her feelings and she's not actually alone, there's so many people who support her and love her. Allendis is one of Aristia's most trusted allies, confidante and her first friend. By befriending him, she learns the happiness friendship brings. So the Abandoned Empress was probably one of the first Korean webtoons I've ever read, and was what probably dragged me down into the manhwa hole that I haven't gotten out of yet. Carsein de Rass - Ruvelli's Cousin who is a few years younger than him. They get a long to some extent.

Allen also is sociopathic and possessive of Tia. At one point, he considers killing her father, Keiran, because Keiran sees through Allen's true nature. Jeremia la Monique - Mother of Aristia and wife of Keirean la Monique. Jeremia had a close relationship with Ruvellis, who viewed her as a maternal figure.

Also, don't forget that Tia inheriting her household makes it impossible for her to become Empress (due to some rules and stuff), so how can Tia be power-hungry and out to manipulate him, Ruve, when she appears to want to break off the engagement?
