Minimal use of "f--k," "bitch," "hard-ass," "d--k," and "oh my God."This movie is pretty disturbing in many respects. I took two 14 year old girls and we wanted to leave part way through the movie because it became a lot more like a horror story than what we were expecting. The doll violently kills for at least half the movie and it’s all based on protecting the little girl she’s paired to. Also, the general story line of the little girls losing both parents at the beginning of the movie in a violent car crash is the basis for the whole movie so right from the start it’s just hard to watch and an upsetting story line. As a parent i was laughing at how disturbing it became. The movie itself was well done, but for a much older audience and the railing seems really off. All of the marketing in the movie doesn’t lead one to believe it will be quite so violent with such a disturbing storyline. I took my 9 year old to see this he is very mature for his age and loves scary movies , I’m an over protective mom and it’s hard to find horror movies he can enjoy with out adult sex scenes. This was great more funny than scary and zero nudity or sexual content a good movie for family’s that love scary movies I was very worried before letting him see it and honestly wasn’t bad for kiddos that have seen other horror movies Many themes, from grief and loss to rampant consumerism without concern for consequences. A sequence looks at the complexities of bullying behavior. But the main message, of course, is the danger of humanity's hubris. Much like in the original Frankenstein story: Human beings can only create life in their own imperfect image.

Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century. How is consumerism depicted here? Why does the toy company rush to put M3GAN on the market before she's ready, regardless of the consequences? Gemma wants to be a good guardian for Cady, even though she doesn't quite know how. While she makes many mistakes, Gemma certainly tries hard to do the right thing; she admits when she's wrong, and she's willing to communicate and learn to prevent making the same mistakes again.
