I was concerned beforehand that there might have been problems of one sort or another during the march, and I know at least one of the organisers shared similar fears, but thankfully the event went very well and was a credit to those who arranged it and participated in it. welsh-dragon-days wrote:The club wouldn’t win a case against the agent anyway. My late mother, Dawn, was also a well-known figure in South Wales thanks to her tireless work for a greyhounds’ welfare charity she set up in 1998. It’s interesting the people in the surrounding area doing the swim away action, it really shows the anti Cardiff feeling in Swansea. Cardiff was far from the only team that struggled with hooligans and organized fighting 30-40 years ago . But Cardiff took it remarkably long time to clear up the problem. Yesterday afternoon at 13.30 talking about the apparent upsurge in youngsters getting involved in football hooliganism. Fair play Annis thought you spoke sense and even made the figures sound correct.

What I was attempting to do in my post was explain to Nigel why I had reservations about the march beforehand and how I believed it could have been portrayed by the local and national media had any problems occurred on the day. Nevertheless, I can fully understand why my comments were misconstrued, as they were presented so poorly.
