To mix Taurus SC, fill a 1-gallon sprayer one fourth (1/4) to one third (1/3) full of water while wearing your PPE. Then, add 0.4 to 0.8 ounces of Taurus to the sprayer. Place the cap on the sprayer and shake to mix. Finish filling the sprayer with water to make 1 gallon of finished spray solution. Replace the sprayer lid and shake well to finish combining. Apply at a rate of 4 gallons of finished solution per 10 linear feet for perimeter termite applications. Taurus Mites are believed to be native of Reptile burrows in Africa, and so are believed to be the natural predator of the Snake Mite Den Heyer, J. 1979. Rubroscirus, a new cunaxid genus (Prostigmata: Acari) with three new species from the Ethiopian Region. Acarologia, 20(1): 70-92. Ban any fur bearing animals from the area, and wash clothing immediately. I personally believe, the damn things came from a show on our clothing. And migrated around the house the same way. Taurus SC is labeled for OUTDOOR USE ONLY. The only exception is for indoor spot treatments inside wall voids for termites. The Taurrus mites will last around 4 weeks, and repeat applications may be required for large infestations. Taurrus can be applied on a regular basis as a preventative treatment if applying small amounts every 4/5 weeks. Once all Snake Mites have been consumed Taurrus will naturally die out. Be particularly cautious when sourcing frogs or worms for species such as garter snakes.
