About this deal

I have always used 0000 as the pincode, and I am unaware what to do if all steps have been remedied and the pincode still fails. Hope this gets it working for you. Provides a Bluetooth hands free phone solution (pauses music when calls are made and received and automatically resumes music when a call is ended) Direct CD changer port connection involving no FM Modulation for high quality sound without interference. Phone connectivity was optional on the Focus MK2/MK2.5. This requires the optional Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system. This is a separate system that communicates with the radio over the CANbus network. Whether the car does or does not have the optional Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system can easily be determined by the radio stalk. Cars with Bluetooth/Voicecontrol do have a VOICE button on top of the radio stalk. On cars without Bluetooth/Voicecontrol the phone buttons on the radio act as mute buttons. If a Bluetooth/Voicecontrol module is connected the phone functions and menu of the radio will be active.

Basically the parrot unit sits between the original head unit wiring and the head unit itself. It then uses the power supplied to the head unit to power itself and then when you use it, it cuts the sound from the head unit and sends the sound out through the car speakers.Next remove the 2 triangle's in the stereo surround (small electrical screwdriver), then undo the 2 torx screws on either side and the 2 at the bottom, pull panel forward a small amount and disconnect the three switches at the top, pull the panel forward some more and disconnect the 2 plugs from the climate control, place panel securely out of the way. Refitting the bottom half of the cover is a bit fiddly, just make sure the bolt is loose fit in the cover, fit both bolt and torx screw, then fully tighten both. When refitting the top half, ensure the ears at the front are engaged properly. First lift the arm rest (or whatever it's called), then gently pull up the centre console, starting by the cup holder - you will find a join line inside the cup holder, pull on this and centre consul will come up (makes a horrible noise first time you do it) working forward towards the ash tray.

Before I go out and buy the things that is needed for the retrofix, I would like to get confirmed that it is possible.

YOU MAY ALSO CONSIDER

To do this, depending on the make of your stereo, you need to play around with the phone menu. Find out how to debond and get rid of existing stored phones.

Know your phones bluetooth individual name so you know that it is your phone when you activate it with your stereo, ie "Dave", or "K800i" etc... Looking up under the dash, locate the oblong lip, with a plastic post towards one end - it’s behind the plastic piece on the dash, towards the centre of the car â€" this is where the BT/VC module mounts. When you press the phone button it will now say no phone connected rather than mute. I did this on a Kuga Sony head unit and tested it with my ST Sony head unit as well as the standard CD6000 and all worked fine. On a successful pincode being entered, your phones bluetooth name will come up on the stereo display, and your phone will be "bonded" with your stereo for bluetooth usage. Compatible with the Ford 6000 CD and 6006 CDC radio found in various Ford models from 2006-2010. Please see below for further information. If you still have difficulties, let me know exactly the model of stereo you have and I will see if I can help further.
