About this deal

The ElectrIQ 10L weighs 10.5kg, which is about average for a refrigerant dehumidifier of this power. The appliance sits on castor wheels, so thankfully you can roll it rather than having to lift it up, should you need to move it. If you need to lift it up then there’s a chunky carrying handle that folds out of the top of the unit. Who are Electriq though? Which are the company's the best dehumidifiers? And are there any you should avoid? Let's find out. Who Are Electriq? The dehumidifier only comes with one fan speed. Having two fan speeds gives the variation between power when you need it and quietness when you don’t. So it’s a shame not to see it on the CD10L, but not unexpected for a machine in this price range. To take advantage of this great offer just simply add the warranty extension you want and we'll do the rest. There is nothing worse than your dehumidifier breaking down just after the Manufacturer's warranty has expired. Here at Buy It Direct Ltd we want you to get the most out of your dehumidifier, which is why we offer a5 Year Warranty plan.

Refrigerant dehumidifiers work best when there is a big difference in temperature between the coils and air. This is why they tend to be most effective at room temperature and above, but gradually become worse as the temperature drops. Control and monitor the humidity of your home, office, boat, caravan, garage or holiday home from anywhere using your Android or Apple phone or tabletWith a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling. It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier. Even so, it does a brilliant job of removing moisture from the air. While it's unlikely to get near 20 litres per day, it pulls large amounts of water from the air - especially at room temperature or higher. It also has a four litre water tank, so you won't need to empty it as often as other models (although this is smaller than the 6 litre Meaco Low Energy 20L).

A good extraction rate, however, is not the only thing you get from this electriQ 10L low energy dehumidifier. One of the machine’s outstanding features is that it has an automatic energy-saving feature. Activated Carbon filter and HEPA filter: can remove pollen, dustand animal hairs in large rooms (up to 55 sqm) Once activated, the auto feature simply switches the dehumidifier on and off as the moisture content in the home increases and decreases. The goal is to keep the room’s humidity at the level you have set whilst using the least amount of energy possible.Free unlimited phone support with a UK dedicated claims line. We have a dedicated claims line and are here to help. We have a few complaints about this model though. The main problem is that we feel it's overpriced, considering the basic features and 12L extraction rate. It's also relatively noisy and surprisingly heavy. It's not the most powerful dehumidifier on the market - you wouldn't expect it to be with the low energy consumption. But it can do a decent job at removing water, especially at room temperature or above.

This doesn't mean the CD10L has no redeeming qualities. It's just as quiet as the CD20LE, at 42dB, and has a high build quality. It's also relatively energy efficient and lightweight - along with being one of the cheapest Electriq models. The Electriq 10l dehumidifier is a solid model, but, unlike the 20L version, we can't recommend it over alternatives such as the Meaco Small Home Dehumidifier. It's easy to use and relatively cheap, but struggles to remove enough water from the air compared to its closest competitors.

Key Features:

One nice thing about this design is that the controls are very simple to use. They consist of only 4 buttons – two are up and down buttons for adjusting the humidity level, one is for turning the unit on & off, while the last button is for accessing a timer function. There is also an LCD screen that displays the humidity level of a room. LED indicator lights that show chosen settings, when the dehumidifier is on, and when the tank is full are great additions as well. Low-temperature operation perfect for garages, cellars, holiday homes, boats and caravans now with advanced app humidity and temperature monitoring Electriq dehumidifiers often go under the radar compared to the "big three" manufacturers ( Ebac, E coAir and Meaco) - but they are starting to grow in popularity. Activated Carbon filter and HEPA filter supplied as standard: can remove pollen, dustand animal hairs in large rooms (up to 55 sqm)
