There is a lot, too much, medical information given tbh and lots of gynaecological references throughout and it would be easy to get bogged down with this if let yourself, then again it is a book based around medicine and hospitals so guess there is a fine line on how detailed to go?

And the plot is a disturbingly eerie tale of control, obsession, deception, jealousy, betrayal, depravity, senseless violence, and murder.I’ve read lots of books that feature stalkers in all shapes sizes and forms but Marcus is truly one of the most ‘weaselly’ of characters, petulant, childish, whiney, self centred and arrogant All in all a dark book about a man who appears to be the epitome of all that is great when actually he is the reverse, and then some
