About this deal

This brand-new release is fresh from the mine and a light golden colour. Rich, fruity and intense, showing rose and oleander scents, apple, pineapple and melon on the nose and palate. It has the highest residual sugar since 2009, so it is a little heftier. Velvety textured and beautifully poised with still unrealised potential, so there’s much more to come. Wither 2014? Kent, David (1993). Australian Chart Book 1970–1992 (illustrateded.). St Ives, N.S.W.: Australian Chart Book. p.135. ISBN 0-646-11917-6.

Epokale’s name references a time some two centuries ago when Gewürztraminer (aka Traminer Aromatico) in Alto Adige was usually a sweeter wine, a style largely abandoned today in favour of dry wines. Hence in Germanic terms, it’s a classic Spätlese. The lightest of the late harvest styles, it may contain traces of noble rot ( Botrytis cinerea) in some vintages. The group's fourth studio album, it was the first by a new line-up that included Simon House on synthesizer, Mellotron and electric violin; absent were Robert Calvert, who had previously contributed lyrics, vocals and spoken word interludes, and Dik Mik, who provided electronic effects.

These wines will continue to develop and live for at least 20 years, potentially many more. Each vintage taken alone is a great wine but tasting them all together reveals a deliberately evolving style. The group returned to North America a second time for a more comprehensive tour consisting of 22 dates in March and April under the banner of "1999 Party", taking their entire entourage with them including dancer Stacia, MC and DJ Andy Dunkley, a lightshow by Jonathan Smeeton (Liquid Len) and support from United Artists Records label mates Man. [13] [14] [15] Although Dettmar had not yet left the group, House joined the band for this tour, but not having the appropriate work permit, his performances were strictly unofficial. [12] The Chicago and Detroit shows on 21 and 23 March were professionally recorded, the former being released in 1997 as The 1999 Party. British album certifications – Hawkwind – Hall of the Mountain Grill". British Phonographic Industry. The cover of a derelict spaceship in the mists of an alien lagoon was painted by the band's regular artistic collaborator, Barney Bubbles. The rear cover was by David A. Hardy. [7]

Outside, the mercury reaches a grilling 37°C in the shade. Such temperatures may not be uncommon in the Alto Adige later in summer but are undoubtedly unusual in June, and this was already the third heatwave of the year. January 14, 1972 Community College, Slough, ENG (supported by Spontaneous Combustion, Carol Grimes & Uncle Dog & Heavy Eric) The entry is at the bottom gallery of the disused silver mine, which closed in the late sixties. It’s at 1,973 metres altitude. That’s 6,500 feet and so 2,000 feet higher than Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. The Quest Sep 1974: United Artists Records, UAG 29672, UK vinyl – original issues came in single sleeve with inner sleeve No human-made cellar could achieve such conditions without vast expense. And while this storage incurs transport and rental costs, no energy is required to maintain it. Usually, the wine is only disturbed once per year when a vintage is withdrawn for release, replacing it with the latest vintage made. The Silver Mine

There is no light, sound or vibration – only silent darkness. Furthermore, the temperature (11°C) and humidity (90%) are perfect. Atmospheric pressure is also lower at this altitude, meaning 20% less oxygen is present than at sea level, reducing oxygen ingress through the corks.Hawkwind – Hall of the Mountain Grill (album review 2) | Sputnikmusic". www.sputnikmusic.com . Retrieved 6 July 2016. Larkin, Colin (2007). The Encyclopedia of Popular Music (4thed.). Oxford University Press. ISBN 978-0195313734. Sort of shattered my illusions when I found out that the Mountain Grill was a cafe on the Portobello Road and the legend of Beenzon Toste mere fiction, more about the rattling of cutlery and a Full English Breakfast than my imagined Psychedelic Warlords being marooned on a distant planet finding themselves in a cavernous Hall inhabited by mythical Troll like creatures. Our places have six empty glasses in the comfortable hall, ready and waiting. The expectations of those few fortunate enough to be present were naturally high. Yet they were about to be exceeded.
