About this deal

The new Series 9 93xx shavers also come in two flavors (just like their predecessors): solo (models ending in s like 9340s) and Clean & Charge models (the ones ending in cc like the 9385cc, 9390cc, 9395cc, etc.). Perhaps No body fill this problem because nobody compare his shaver with new one, but I think because of very high vibration 40.000 ( 4*10.000) it damage the shaver too…By the way, I lubricate my shaver 2-3 times per month by oil too. You won’t have a Series 9 Pro though after that upgrade as using a standard Series 9 with the 94M Pro head will pretty much feel like using a standard Series 9.

And the Series 9 is already an excellent performer out of the box, so adding a shaving cream won’t make that much of a difference here. 4. Corded and cordless usePerformance wise, coming from a Series 7 shaver with no clean and charge and having a fast growing and hard stubble, I was unshaved for almost a week when my 9280CC arrived. All Series 9 shavers are made in Germany with premium craftsmanship. Product recommended by GQ magazine. While austenitic stainless steel is non-magnetic when annealed with a solution, certain cold worked grades are magnetic. Heat-based hardening will not work with these types of steel. If you’re on a tighter budget, shave daily/every other day and you have a light to medium beard, the Arc 3 should be good enough. Just make sure to get one of the models fitted with a 13 000 CPM (cycles per minute) motor like the ES8103S or ES-LT6N/ES-LT3N and so on. For slightly more money you can also get the Arc 4 ES-LA63-S or ES8243AA if you live in the USA. Those come with 4 blades and should handle a coarse beard without any issues. Finally, there’s the range-topping Arc 5 (with models like the ES-LV65-S or ES-LV67) with 5 blades and excellent performance (closeness and comfort). Those are also more expensive. The original models are however getting really tough to find and sometimes their price is outrageously high, costing more than the latest versions.

Shaving shouldn’t inflict significant discomfort provided that we take care of the basics (a suitable razor and good technique). If that’s not enough, we can assume that we’re dealing with sensitive skin. The severity can vary from some razor burn and redness to more serious issues like ingrown hairs and razor bumps. Even the hairs that lie flat on the skin are captured relatively easy and with few strokes. Out of all the foil shavers currently available, the S9 is probably the best at this. Regarding which generation Series 9 should you buy, it’s really up to you and there’s no right or wrong approach to this.

However, the one on the 9385cc (and a few other models) has a matte finish instead of glossy and it’s called 92M. But other than that, it’s identical and any of the aforementioned cassettes will fit. Overall, cleaning the Series 9 is generally pretty straightforward, whether you use the cleaning station or you do it yourself. I appreciate you taking the time to get in touch with us, Arne. If you have any future questions, don’t hesitate to reconnect with Braun. Series 9/9 Pro or the Series 8 if you need a very comfortable and versatile shaver that can also deal with longer stubble Precisely, every model in the original Series 9 family starts with 90: 9090cc, 9095cc, 9093s, and so on.
