About this deal

Firstly just make pots using scrap paper, secondly add your seeds or plugs and thirdly enjoy without harming the environment. Plus, the premium seedling plant pot maker is made of durable wood and so our tool has no sharp edges being nicely curved and professionally finished so it’s extremely enjoyable to make pots without getting tired. Paper Pot Transplanter drastically reduces your farm’s transplanting time and works great with a wide variety of crops! This simple pot-making kit allows you to make your own seedling pots from nothing more than recycled newspapers! You can create an endless supply of sturdy but biodegradable pots for seeds, seedlings and young plants. But, of course, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, and we haven’t seen any more mold growth with newspaper pots than we have with other kinds of seed starting methods—in fact, we’ve seen noticeably less mold growth with newspaper pots than we’ve seen with plastic pots in the past. Probably because the newspaper is so breathable!

Your mind will be blown by how well some rolled up paper will hold up to watering, moving, and seedling maintenance! We keep ours in a 1020 tray to give them a little bit of support, but other than that, we don’t treat them any differently from any other pot (and really that isn’t different either). You can top or bottom water them, move them around, fertilize, handle them—everything you’d do with a tray, peat pod, or pot! We wouldn’t recommend growing for a whole season in a newspaper pot, but they last plenty long enough to stand up through a course of seedling care. Here’s another DIY tutorial which shows you how to make paper plant pots using a brown paper bag. The idea is here. 10. Paper Pot Seed Cups ECO-FRIENDLY – No waste. No harm. Spring Planters Some people like to use a small amount of biodegradable glue or paper tape to keep the top of the pot closed, we haven’t found this to be necessary if the pots are kept in trays. Paper Pot Transplanter is ideal for planting a large array of vegetables and flowers. Here in Japan, it’s quite popular to use the Paper Pot Transplanter for planting leeks, along with other vegetables such as asparagus, spinach, broccoli, cabbage and several other chrysanthemums and sunflowers. REFINED DESIGN – e-pots have refined the design and made the wood seed starting pot maker super comfortable to use without sharp edges – in conclusion it has greater quality than other pot makers. To make these newspaper starter pots, you need a wooden pot maker. This pot maker will last for a lifetime! Here’s how you use a newspaper pot maker:

When you keep germinating seeds moist and warm, mold naturally shows up. In general, a little bit of mold is nothing to worry about in your seedlings as long as the plants still seem strong and healthy. In fact, some minor mold growth can be a good sign of a robust colony of microorganisms in your soil! Cut a strip of newspaper approximately 3” x 10” in length. It doesn’t have to be exact. A slightly longer strip will give you a sturdier pot.

Create very easy paper plant pots using just three items–brown craft paper bags, plants, and pot trays. To learn more, follow this link. 3. Newspaper Pots Fold a paper around a can and when done, slide it off from it to get the paper planter ready! Know more about it here. 11. Tissue Paper Planter Box They’re breathable and breakable: Why is this a good thing? Well, plants suffer when their roots become root bound—meaning their roots twist and form to the side of the pot. With newspaper pots, the roots of plants can break through the newspaper and either continue to grow, or be air trimmed for healthier plants! When they are ready to be planted out, there is no need to remove the pot, the newspaper will biodegrade over time. Reducing the chance for damage to the roots and improving results for plant health. Supplied in a sturdy cardboard gift drum. The storage tube supplied is also handy to keep any left-over newspaper strips for next time. Directions: To use simply cut the paper into strips measuring approx. 9cm x 40cm. Roll the paper loosely around the wooden cylinder three times with 3cm overhanging the end. Fold the overhanging paper into the cavity at the bottom of the cylinder. Press the wooden base plate & cylinder together allowing it to mould the paper into the base shape. Slide the paper off the cylinder and you have a completed pot ready for soil & seeds. It can take hours to completely plant your seedlings the traditional way, or by using inferior products. However, by using the Paper Pot Transplanter you will radically reduce your transplanting time to just a few minutes! Not only that, by using the Paper Pot Transplanter, you will drastically reduce the damage to your body if you’re doing it manually, and the damage to your sanity by using an inferior product. Having more time in your day and less pain to yourself, we think is something we can all agree on.
