When I read I could send a selfie and have my "perfect" foundation delivered to my house a few days later, I wasn't entirely convinced. But in under a minute the brand's app scanned my face and, sure enough, two days later the product hit my doormat. Pair with one of Collection’s Lasting Perfection Foundation shades, now formulated to perfectly match each concealer shade, making it easier to shop your base than ever before. The vegan formula is buildable, blendable and effortlessly covers and conceals blemishes and dark circles for a flawlessly smooth base. The lightweight liquid concealer glides onto the skin easily with a doe foot applicator. Don't get me wrong, there was still texture on my skin (which I was glad about) but any redness, blemishes or evidence or pores completely dissapeared. The product soaked into my skin really well, and didn't smudge or soak into my fine lines.

While it might be tempting to apply your foundation with your hands, if you really want to make it last, it's best to apply it with a clean brush or sponge as the oils from your hands can break down the foundation. And read the emphasis on a clean brush. A dirty brush can harbor as much oils as your hands and lead to a streaky application. Shade 6 Cashew - For light skin tones with a golden neutral undertone. It's officially reached that time of year where I'm on the hunt for a long lasting matte foundation to keep my face looking flawless. I applied the Blur Foundation just with my hands and rubbed it in like a moisturiser. Although this felt alien to me because I'm usually used to dabbing it on with a sponge, the foundation itself actually felt quite nourishing. I took a trip to my local Superdrug because I was after a darker affordable foundation to wear whilst I was wearing fake tan. I was really surprised at this foundation, and wish I'd discovered it sooner after spending a lot of money on other products. I'll be recommending the product to everyone for its value and sheer quality. The verdict The liquid foundation boasts a vegan formula and also utilises coconut water to help replenish moisture levels. I adore this foundation - though if you've got stubborn or particularly vibrant spots, you may need a little support from concealer.The medium to full coverage foundation seamlessly blends for a flawless complexion and is now specially formulated to perfectly match all shades of Lasting Perfection Concealer, making it easier than ever before to shop your base. What We Don't Like: While the label claims full coverage, some say it's more medium and hard to build to full. In addition to a matte finish, it's best if the foundation is oil-free to prevent the foundation from breaking down and looking shiny on your skin. Powder compacts also make great alternatives to traditional liquid foundations for oily skin and acne-prone skin types, largely thanks to their oil-controlling and shine-reducing properties and non-comedogenic formulations. But if you’re team dry or combination skin, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t dabble in powder foundations. Rest assured, there’s plenty of options on the market that aren’t too drying; and if you’re not a fan of the matte look, you can simply use them strategically and place the product on areas that could benefit from some mattifying (think your T-zone and your under-eye area). The problem with full coverage foundations is the fact they can look and feel cakey, so it can be so hard to find the perfect one. I do think the foundation was extra effective because I blended it with other Collection products, so that might be something to bare in mind before purchasing.
