Stephen E. Kidd (2014). Nonsense and Meaning in Ancient Greek Comedy. Cambridge University Press. p.49. ISBN 978-1107050150.

While the exact origin of Kho Kho is hard to determine, it is believed that certain aspects of the game have been mentioned in the ancient Indian epic of Mahabharata, in the iconic Chakravyuha incident to be precise. Kho Kho history But it was a great book that kept me captivated, and wanting more. Who could ask for more? Well I can I want the next book! Will Paisley and Corbin give in to the chemistry between them, or will their past and present complications keep them apart?

A small lane, 30cm in width, parallel to the side lines joins the foot of two poles and is called the central lane. The area between the two free zones is then further subdivided by eight more lanes, called cross lanes, equidistant from each other and drawn parallel to the end lines. The cross lanes are 35cm wide. Once all three defenders are out, the defending team sends in the next batch of three defenders.

I LOVED this story! I have been in a reading funk lately and this was EXACTLY what I needed! I had NO idea I was going to love this book. It was perfect. I of course think the Rachel thing could of been avoided had she just asked Corbin, but it makes for an interesting story. I loved her baking, it was nice to see the passion she had for it. I truly hope there is another book and she gets maybe a bakery? I want a wedding and babies and I just do not see it as being over, or maybe I don`t want it to be! I loved Corbin and even though I do want more, it did end perfectly and it honestly does not need more, I just am greedy. Haha. I was worried for a bit at the end how they were going to get their HEA and in time, then I kept thinking maybe the author was going to break out hearts with him being deployed, but no. I am so happy and pleased with this book. Paisley was a tag chaser ( ps- I have never even heard of the term and I loved the idea) she has been chasing “tags” for years. Her father royally screwed her up for all men. Until one night a knight in shining armor steps in, he is a dream boat and Paisley cannot help but swoon over him. of course she has just made a bet with her best friend to not chase any tags for a year. So when she learns Corbin is in the military she tries to run and get away as fast as she can, but she cannot help how she feels. This story was truly wonderful and I loved it. A must read for sure. Gosain, Srishti (10 March 2016). "12 Games Every 90s Kid Played And We Miss These". LifeCrust . Retrieved 30 July 2023. I liked both Corbin and Paisley as individual characters and as a couple. They both had redeemable qualities which made them likeable characters but their character development is what stood out. Both had emotional scars from their pasts so their development was enjoyable as we saw them overcome and open themselves up to a relationship with one another. The storyline occurred over a short period of time and whilst I didn’t love this book because I would have preferred more development of the romance it didn’t feel rushed. The development worked with the established deadline of Corbin deploying and the nature of the character’s instant connection. There was also some angst and slight drama which I partly enjoyed so whilst this isn’t my favourite Kandi book I will be reading the rest of the books/novellas in the series. And in walks Corbin Ray. HOLLA!! Love this hot piece of ass!! Corbin is just smoking...Tall, dark hair and his eyes..these blue eyes that stare deep into you..Um hello Dreamboat!!!
