About this deal

We also press pause and play a few times – a fun game in itself – and are pleased with the sensitivity of this live TV control. Identifies the video capability of the destination, and informs the source to provide a video format the destination can support. There are advanced splitters that can control the EDID codes, but of course the delivered audio and video has to be downgraded to the lowest format that both sources support. There are other examples on the web with the 2000T losing sound, even when using a single hdmi port, and as you don't even own a 2000T then to try and suggest it's the users who don't know what they are doing is just incredibly arrogant.

If you want to send digital audio to a device that is likely to universally understand the codec used to compress the audio, you should use a proper AV receiver, not a TV.

Its compact design won’t draw any attention, which is exactly what you want. It also looks great with a brushed silver finish and some nice illumination on the front when on and recording. There are also twin HD tuners as standard so you can watch one TV show whilst recording something at the same time. Mentioning recording, the HDR-2000T has a massive 500GB hard drive so you really don’t need to worry about missing your favourite show again, up to 300 hours worth of standard def viewing. The “On Demand” button displays the most popular Catch-up services, which are all in one place, providing easy access to the the world of iPlayer, ITV Hub, ALL4, Demand 5 and UKTV Interesting result, though as you know with my device it happens with power saving set to off. We do have very good signal, 100% quality with strength around 85%.

New TV Guide Surf & Scan Banner When watching TV press, the ‘OK’ button a banner appears at the bottom of the screen displaying programme information. Press either the up or down arrows around the OK button to scroll up and down the channel list displayed on the left hand side of the screen, if you then press ‘OK’ again the programme synopsis will be displayed in a larger pop up panel. This provides the option to record the programme or series or set a reminder! Device works flawlessly using a splitter. The fault if it is correct to call it that has to be with the loop-through side of the 2T as it's present when no connection by HDMI is present. Please would you confirm he model? The Humax HDR-2000T does not have a button on top of the box. The on/off touch area is located on the front of the HDR-2000T. I then ran the test for the third time, still using the new HDMI lead but connected via the Neet HDMI hub. Sure enough 15 minutes before record time, same as happened originally i.e. momentary total signal loss. The problems began once I started to use the 2000T ( I already own a HDR-1000s freetime box). I noticed that every time the 2000T entered a partial wake-up state in readiness to record a programme (15 minutes prior to programme start) I would lose the TV's own tuner signal for anything between 10 and 30 seconds (blank screen). The HDMI hub I am using would show an active connection at this point. Pause live TV to answer the door or make a cup of coffee then return to where you left off. No more missing that vital moment or dialogue. With the 500GB hard drive you can record and store up to 125 hours in HD of your favourite programmes.
