About this deal

So why do we use Zorb™ Silvadur® in our absorbent products (excluding Memory Foam Mats)? Simple really, its amazing but for a bit more detail then carry on reading below. A nice big cage for small rabbits, but with no side door. If it had a door I'd probably have given it a 5. The Ferplast Rabbit 140 has really been superseded in the last few years by the growing range of 150cm cages and Ferplast’s own 160 cm cage in the same design. The Silvadur® Antimicrobial properties inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi and algae on the fabric thus controlling bad odours, improving overall hygiene and providing continuous freshness protection. We are the first in the UK to use this as standard within all of our liners, setting the bar for quality higher still and showing how innovative we are. The long-established Italian brand 'Ferplast" has been producing high-quality pet accessories for more than 40 years. New Pet Generation stands for maximum comfort and best quality products for all pets.

Indoor Rabbit Cage Bunny rabbits can thrive indoors. Small, furry friends like rabbits or guinea pigs can make great indoor pets, and it all starts with a good indoor rabbit cage. The habitat is supplied with necessary accessories like little plastic house with bowl and a partitition with steps, feeder for hay and drinking bottle. Besides, it's equipped with Living World Green Eco Habitat: This gorgeous indoor rabbit cage features transparent walls and recycled rubber wood, and also comes with wheels to make moving and cleaning the hutch easy. Rabbit 140 has a spacious base and a door that can be opened completely, allowing for easy cleaning. As well as giving your pet plenty of space to roam in a bunny-safe area, your rabbit will need an indoor hutch to hide away in.Note: Every attempt is made to show our products/options/colours accurately however due to individual monitor/screen setups some variations, especially with colour representation, may occur. So, with that out of the way.. Is there ever a good commercial cage which is adequate for piggies? I've seen cages such as the Ferplast 140, which look quite big and I actually like the fact you can get a stand for it also. Could this ever be suitable? That said it’s not a bad size at nearly five foot long and over two foot wide, if you want a base for a free range rabbit. Ferplast have obviously put a lot of thought into the features and it's been through several revisions. The top section of the cage folds flat for easy transport and storage. It has a large door at the front, hinging at the top so it can't catch your rabbits feet. For you rabbit there is a side door with a solid ramp. The Krolik 140 model is really large, also ideal for hosting several rabbits together and including all the comforts: inside, it has a comfortable plastic house with bowl, hay feeder and drinking bottle. Furthermore, on the side of the cage, you will find a comfortable ladder that allows the animal to go out and enter independently and move freely around the house. The habitat is complete with an extension of 40 cm in length, separated from the main cage by a special removable grid. This module is ideal for allowing bunnies to build their own nest leaving them all the peace of mind they need.

We have plenty of safe and comfortable indoor rabbit hutches, meaning you won't have to compromise on style or comfort: Silvadur™ is proven to be safe against the skin so is 100% safe for your piggies/pets especially when sewn inside a cage liner.

Rabbit Cage Reviews

It is important to make sure that your pet gets the chance to run around and play in a larger area every day. A run or enclosure is a great way to give your pet space and keep it safe at the same time. More information on the additional Ferplast Small Pet House for Plaza Cage, including assembly instructions and how to attach it to the cage, can be found here:

No need for a "waterproof layer". These layers are present in lower quality liners with cores that do not absorb properly. Lounge Small Pet Cage: This two storey wooden indoor rabbit cage comes with nifty plastic trays to make cleaning the hutch a breeze. Machine wash your liner on a cool wash, 30/40C using a washing detergent that DOES NOT contain fabric softener. A little white wine vinegar can help eliminate odours. It is designed to be used in reusable nappies, is thin, lightweight and highly absorbent. Nothing on the market is more effective or comparable. We were one of the first UK bulk importers of Zorb™ and now Zorb™ Silvadur®, which we used in all of our cage liners. Price wise it’s around half what you’d pay for the 160, but at a similar price to the other brands of slightly larger 150 cages they are probably a better option.

Your liner will probably need washing once or twice a week depending on how messy your little ones are. Once you've found your perfect indoor rabbit cage, take a look at the complete zooplus collection of These liner options are designed to fit either C&C or Ferplast cages. If you are unfamiliar with your cage or it's dimensions then please take a look below as our Cage Liner Sizing Guide.

Our C&C and Ferplast Fleece Cage Liners were the original cage liners to use the material Zorb™ (more info below) in every liner we make. Several others have gone on to copy us by using it. As Oscar Wilde said "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness". So, thank you! We're flattered. Hello everyone! I don't know if anyone has seen my recent intro to the forum but basically I am hoping, in the future, to get a guinea pig pair.. probably rescues so at the moment I'm just trying to research as thoroughly as I possibly can.
