What surprised me at the very first test was that this fragrance - unlike what you would expect from Initio and its name - comes across as rather monothematic. For me Absolute Aphrodiasac remains a vanilla scent from beginning to end. The Bibergeil (which caused me some concern before) proves to be harmless and only adds a discreet animal note to the top note of the fragrance. Also the white flowers can be guessed at most. Performance is excellent. Blessed Baraka is an EDP and projects just over arm’s length for about 1.5 to 3 hours leaving a nice scent trail…

The key base note of castoreum that originates from a beaver, enhances the animalistic nature of Absolute Aphrodisiac - you wont be able to resist. The fragrances come in beautiful bottles that have a soft rubber-like texture coating, adhered with their logo on the front (the name of each fragrance is engraved on the top of the cap). The brand’s name and name of the scent are engraved on the top of the cap. Now, as it dries down… some creamy vanilla and cinnamon morph with the rum and tobacco to leave you with a gorgeous smooth creamy sweet boozy tobacco scent. Dark, Rich & Sexy Sweet This works well all year round, except in the high summer heat: special occasions, dates, work/office safe (spray lightly), casual, nights out, etc…

The scent of castoreum depends on the beaver diet. Bevears are vegans, they eat tree bark and tree shootings. European beavers prefer birch, aspen, willow, poplar, and some herbaceous plants, like water lilies, cattail, reed.Thus the vanilla always remains in the lead in the further process, although in the opening hour the leather also flashes out again and again shyly, before it then completely disappears.
