About this deal

Would You Rather made my heart burst in the best way. It hits every emotional high note with moments of laugh-out-loud humor, scenes that will bring you to tears, and cuteness that will make you squeal out loud. Allison Ashley will charm you with this affecting and engrossing love story." - Sarah Echavarre Smith The woman came forward. “Oh, hello. I’m Darcy Lane—I have an appointment?” It came out like a question. this was so incredibly adorable. the characters were all so sweet and amazing. it was a decently short read that made me forget that i was hallucinating on the account of dead trees with ink. Sexy and sweet, with a fresh twist on friends-to-lovers, Would You Rather is the type of romance I wish I could read again for the first time. Allison Ashley draws the reader in and holds tight with a carefully woven story, sparkling chemistry, and unforgettable characters. It's pure, swoony, flirty, romantic bliss."--Lauren Accardo, author of Wild Love I'm told this is a debut novel by this author - well, if that's true, I can guarantee she's going to have a long and prosperous career as a writer.

Oh. I’m sorry, I might have misplaced it,” Mia said, unease filling her stomach. Every time she messed up—which wasn’t often—it always seemed to involve David. The man thought she was a complete idiot. “I’ll find it.” Nurse Claire and her firefighter roommate Graham make a pact - they will enter a friends with benefits arrangement as long as they are both perpetually single. But when Graham suffers an injury at work and Claire takes on the role of caregiver, sparks begin to fly with unforeseen consequences. It was easy to see that this author has knowledge of the medical field and cancer clinics which made this story believable. As a clinical pharmacist Lauren sees Andrew on his first day of chemo treatment and while she only sees him for one day, she becomes somewhat of a lifeline to him and his family and their feelings grow. They really work hard at remaining just friends and while they spend time as friends volunteering and sharing terrible puns, their relationship blossoms. I wish this book had a better cover because it's SO GOOD! It's a slow burn friends to lovers that was truly romantic and made me cry, which is a rarity. The heroine is a clinical oncology pharmacist, not something I knew existed but the author shares this occupation and it definitely shows in the detail we get in the story. There is a meet cute involving spilled coffee before the heroine meets the hero again. As a patient for a treatable form of cancer.Right in the middle of all these, gets injured and left bedridden and Claire, the ever dutiful nurse slash friend is left to take care of him. And man oh man things heat up from there and the pair of them are set to realise (separately) that they can be more than just friends with benefits even with several limitations in between them. She smiled, ignoring the pang of jealousy at his casual mention of spending time with his dad. There was a time she and her parents got together for regular meals, too. Now, she couldn’t even remember the last time. “Yeah?”

Fake marriage- friends to lovers tropes blended in extremely heartwarming, inspirational, genuine love story! You shouldn’t miss Mia and Noah’s amazing story!

Ashley makes favorite rom-com tropes feel new again with a pitch-perfect friends-to-lovers story.” —Publishers Weekly starred review But we missed all of it. And were instead just told that it was true. Which left me feeling... nothing. But, when she shares her news with Noah, he provides a new solution that may solve all of Mia’s problems: marry him so she can quit her job and be covered under his work insurance. Would You Rather by Allison Ashley is a romantc comedy novel. The story in Would You Rather is one that changes the point of view between the two main characters and it is a mix of a friends to lovers romance that also has a bit of fake dating in the mix. S/o to all the healthcare workers, EMT, firefighters, police officers etc. You guys MATTER! If it were not for you I might not have finished this book.

I loved Claire and Graham both so much. They are both interesting characters on their own, but Ms. Ashley takes them on an emotional journey of growth that is both believable and heartfelt. Graham is so carefree, and you can feel shallow, but when opening up emotionally with his journaling, he pulled at every one of my heartstrings. I always love the addition of a dog to a story and Dorothy was great as she was on her own journey of acceptance. There is something very special about these two, not only their chemistry, but also their emotional journey to love. About the Book "Pitch-perfect...gives me all the feels, and I love every one of them!"—Ali Hazelwood, New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis As soon as I heard ER nurse and firefighter 🚒… I was SOLD!! I mean… HELLO… I am an ER nurse and work with tons of paramedics… 🤷‍♀️ They are seriously so much fun to work with… just saying…Allison Ashley absolutely delivers with this swoony friends-to-lovers romance. The pining and the yearning and the kisses swept me off my feet, and I couldn't help falling in love with Noah and Mia. I loved every second of this book!"—Falon Ballard, author of Lease on Love While this is book two in an interconnected series, the author does a great job at recapping book one for the reader, allowing this to also be read as a standalone (though you’d miss cuties Mia and Noah so don’t do that).
