The cutting height options are slightly limited with three options from 20 to 60mm. It has a 30L grass box that should be adequate for small gardens. My only issue with this electric lawn mower is the 10m power lead. This lawn mower will do 50m gardens so a 10m lead is counterintuitive. You can obviously use an extension lead and go on as far as you like. I would have still rather seen a longer lead, even if this power cord length is about the industry standard. The adjustable height cut slightly outperforms the Flymo at 20-70mm rather than 20-60mm with a larger range but in reality it’s almost identical and you won’t notice 10mm, neither will the grass! It’s slightly smaller in cutting span but not at all noticeable in practical terms. It has a huge grass collection box which is practical and very efficient.Of course, not everyone wants to mow several times per week, while sometimes the weather makes it difficult to mow as frequently as we’d like. In these situations, the grass often gets longer, in which case you can swap to the Speedi-Mo 360C’s higher height settings to remove less growth.
After a thorough inspection, I couldn’t find any real flaws in the design of the Flymo Speedi-Mo 360C. The centre handle made it easy to unbox and carry around the garden, the dual-sided controls were a nice touch for enabling ambidextrous use, and there was even a loop on the upper handle where you could hook the cable to keep it out of the way.I have to say, this is a wonderful little electric lawnmower. It only takes 5-10 minutes to assemble, it has a great cutting performance, and is well built. It’s certainly worth the current price tag.
As corded lawn mower you do need to plug it into mains power, although there is a 12m power cord so there should be plenty of reach. The only issue is that this cord may not be long enough in very large gardens, although this can be offset by using an extension cable. They do not make a great noise so shouldn’t annoy your family or your neighbours.
