About this deal

The top of the case features another removable center panel just like the front and also comes with sound dampening materials. The removable top is part of their dual-mode design, meaning when things get too hot or if you install a radiator, you can get the airflow you need.

This is partly thanks to a new mesh material that replaces the usual perforated metal and is made up of woven strands, cutting down on airflow restriction by using wider openings while still acting as a dust filter. However, there's a removable dust filter behind the front section too, as the mesh sits in the front of the case, while there are additional vents in the sides that provide much needed airflow when the front vent is closed. The P600S from PHANTEKS Offers Both Form & FunctionThe first thing you notice about the P600S from Phanteks is the exterior. The large side panel in tinted glass comes attached to the case with hinges and swings outwards to the sides. The same is true of the right-side steel panel. The inner part of the front can be easily removed, as can part of the roof. Both elements are equipped with insulating material. Behind it there lies a fine mesh made of a synthetic fibre, this is not just eye-catching - it also serves to provide additional sound insulation if the covers are left off to improve airflow. The net is magnetically attached at the front. Located behind this is the dust filter. This was the third Phanteks case I have built in and like the others, the Eclipse P600S continues to bring great design coupled with excellent quality. After looking over the case and I completed my build, I could not find a single flaw with the P600S. It’s an extremely well-designed case that is extremely versatile, whether you are doing a duel system, air cooled or water cooled builds. The P600S can accommodate each perfectly. The P600s is a stealthy case with attitude. There are angles and vents in all the right places, making this look very futuristic. At first appearances, the front looks as though it is all one solid panel, with an angular grill towards the top and ventilation gaps at either side. The design is flawless but what is most impressive about the Phanteks P600s is its modularity and ability to transform from one configuration to another.

At the bottom, we have one of the best PSU shrouds going, it’s solid metal and ties in with the overall color scheme nicely. There is a little bit of branding that looks superb towards the font of the shroud and there is a cutout where the PSU sits to cater for those of you that are going to be grabbing a model with a display or RGB lighting. Towards the front, we have space for three 120mm or 140mm fans, of which you get two pre-installed 140mm fans. The fans included do an excellent job for airflow out of the box but adding another is only going to bolster that further. There is a cut-out on the PSU shroud to allow for room with beefy radiators or, of course, a reservoir. You can mount a front rad up to 360 or 280mm at the front, giving you plenty of options inside for an elaborate custom loop. Thankfully, this new material is durable too, and even running our fingers across it with a decent amount of pressure didn't see it deform or catch like you might assume it would, plus there's no way to scratch it like you might with a metal or glass panel. Phanteks feature their double strap cable management system, a set of simple velcro straps strategically placed to make cable managing your PC extremely easy. The straps and clasps can all be removed with a screwdriver meaning you can do more elaborate management if you need. Phanteks has decided to cater to a range of enthusiasts with the Eclipse P600S and not just in terms or air or water. It's included two magnetic panels that sit in the roof and front section, which are easily removable and allow the case to switch between low-airflow/low-noise and higher airflow/more noise configurations. It manages this without making it look like it fell out of the ugly tree in either configuration too, which is quite a feat.

Some of my favorite features of the P600S include the magnetic side panels, the choice to either run a silent/performance configuration and cloth mesh. I really hope in the future that Phanteks releases some custom colored fabric mesh so you could further customize your build. Power supply: unlimited (without 3.5" HDD cages installed), 245 mm (with 2 HDD trays) and 195 mm (with 4 of them) Opening the included accessory box reveals a lot of extras for your P600S. Below is a list of everything that Phanteks has included: The left side has 2 useable cable channels which are held in place with double looped Velcro strips. Dual-system upgrade capability (with the Eclipse P600S power supply and Phanteks’s ITX Upgrade Kit – both sold separately)Phanteks announced the launch of the new Eclipse P600s and Evolv X Matte White Edition along with the Gen4 PCI-e Riser Cables. Its stunning all-new matte white look makes the Evolv X and Eclipse P600s a perfect combination for color-themed builds while maintaining a wide range of flexibility and premium materials. The Phanteks Eclipse P600S has many cooling options, with support for up to 420 mm radiators in the front, 360 mm on the top, and a 140 mm radiator in the rear. Dust filters have been installed on the front, on the top, and at the bottom. The Dutch manufacturer provides users with three Phanteks Premium 140 mm fans. The PSU also sports a removable dust filter of its own that pulls out easily from the rear, and the case is raised a couple of centimetres using rubber-bottomed feet. The 52cm depth and 51cm height plus CPU and GPU limits are identical or close to it compared to the Evolv X, with the main difference, apart from the odd design tweak, being the use of steel rather than aluminium, adding a couple of kilograms to the weight. Like the front of the case, you have a second magnetically attached panel with a fabric mesh underneath. The top panel also includes the same sound dampening form to ensure silent operation when the top panel is left on.

I really can’t say enough about the Eclipse P600S, and regardless of the type of build you’re doing, the P600S has something to offer. The front of the P600S comes with two pre-installed premium 140mm fans but does have room for a third. This also gives you the option to install up to a 420mm radiator in the front of the case. Also, near the front of the shroud is a beveled edge which has been inscribed with “Phanteks”. Its aesthetic additions like this one really gives the case some personality. Overall, the Phanteks Eclipse P600s is one of the best cases on the market. While I still lean towards the Corsair 5000-series, Phanteks are still high up on my list. The P600s excels in thermal performance when configured correctly and the option to have my system as a stealthy silent beast is one I favor. The first thing you notice about the P600S from Phanteks is the exterior. The steel side panels are attached with hinges to the case and open outwards. Both are kitted out with insulation.

The magnetic panel has three different configurations which include fully closed, slightly open, and totally removed. Leaving the panel fully attached to the case should provide near silent operation. The other configurations are designed for higher airflow while sacrificing some of the soundproofing that it provides. If you are familiar with the Evolv, the P600s and its spacious interior is going to feel great. This is a bit taller than a few other mid-tower options but that extra room goes a long way, especially when building. The layout inside is logical and everything is exactly where it needs to be.Both side panels are completely tool-free and secure to the case with four strong magnets. A nice touch with said magnets is the use of a thin rubber layer on top of each meaning the panels close with a satisfying dull noise rather than a clatter. These side panels make everything from building to upgrading very easy and as previously mentioned, it is my go-to choice for side panel design.
