After the player beats a position in the tree (successfully being able to advance), they must overcome any traps. Any Tree cards used to climb are collected and are now turned over. Each Monkey Trap card is revealed one at a time.If the player can play enough Tree cards of the right color that has a combined number value greater than the revealed Tree card, they move their Character card to the next card up in the tree. If they cannot, they move their Character card down one position in the tree. Any Tree cards used are returned to the player’s hand and the Tree card is flipped face-down. Ties are considered a failure. Within huge troops, monkeys form smaller groups, called harems, which include an adult male, several adult females, and their offspring. Unattached adult males, called bachelors, sometimes form their own group. To keep family bonds, monkeys engage in daily mutual grooming. When the troop is not traveling, monkey babies are very active, spending much of their waking hours playing. These fun activities help young monkeys develop physical and social skills they need for adult life. While Swing Monkey is a pretty unique physics game, there are a few games that have a similar feel to it once you finish up all 100 levels of Swing Monkey. A couple of games that we recommend are Candy Jump and Winter Dodge. Both are based on using your momentum and controlling your distance.
