I absolutely love Fox's Jam and Cream Rings! The cream makes all the difference, and the jam is so good. The biscuit cookie part I'm in the USA is very good and when I want something a bit luxurious, I go for these. Very tasty, and something I can't get in the USA. Moderately active - Do light to moderate intensity exercise 3-4 times a week. E.g. going to the gym / swimming / cycling / horse riding / dance classes / playing golf. Daily dog walking (brisk pace, twice a day).
The main difference between these jam sandwich biscuits and classic Jammie Dodgers lies in the biscuit. Foxs version of dodgers is more similar to a Viennese Whirl shortcake rather than a very crisp biscuit. The result is a more melt-in-the-mouth texture and a cake like, tasty bite. The jam is also very tasty and together with the vanilla cream, is just the perfect amount filling. This product from brand Fox's contains a total of 10 shortcake biscuits, with a filling of vanilla cream and raspberry jam. The texture of the biscuits is a 'cross' of sorts between 'soft' and 'crunchy'. The flavour of the raspberry jam is dominant, wherein the 'fruity' flavour has been well executed, being pleasantly 'tart' yet 'sweet'. Its aftertaste, however, is 'floral', highly reminiscent of freeze-dried raspberries, which might not be appreciated by everyone. The vanilla cream is not 'artificial' upon taste. Its presence ensures that one's mouth is not dried out when the biscuits are bitten into. The biscuits can be had on their own, or with a hot beverage of one's choice. Overall, this product is good enough to be tried.

I prefer Foxs Jam n Cream Rings to Burtons Jammie Dodgers. It's more like an updated version of Jammie Dodgers. The crunchy shortcake biscuits are sandwiched together with sweet, vanilla creamy goodness and paired with a layer of tangy strawberry jam. This makes a perfect afternoon treat with a nice cup of tea. But, be careful! They will not last long as they are too good!Bake for 35 minutes, or until cooked. My oven took a good 45 minutes until it was done. Use the skewer test, i.e. it should come out clean, not covered in gooey batter.
