About this deal

To ensure efficient delivery, we work with trusted carriers: DPD Local for next working day delivery and Royal Mail for the 2 working days option. Tamiya has made mounting the electronics pretty easy. There are two molded tabs at the top of the chassis that are wide enough to tape the ESC and receiver to. In this location, the wires on the ESC will reach both the motor and battery with ease.

Also, inside the rear damper, add a 3mm spacer. This will prevent the drive cup from ejecting the drive. Because it will reduce the rotating drive moving away enough to come out of the cup. Conclusion Our Duratrax LiPo battery was a bit big for the battery tray, but after our modification it basically drops right in (see the Chassis feature above for mod). However there’s a catch; Tamiya’s TBLE-02S is great for brushed or brushless applications, but it’s not 100% completely LiPo compatible. So what does that mean? Well, almost every current ESC has a feature called Low Voltage Protection (LVP) and it detects when the battery drains to a certain voltage and then cuts the power, protecting the battery from going below that particular voltage. The Rugged ABS space frame chassis utilizes double-wishbone front and trailing arm rear suspension setups in tandem with CVA oil dampers. Steering rod upgrades will be necessary too while you’re at the servo replacement. Here’s one you can try out

BATTERIES

A bit more pricy option is the Futaba ESCs. They are pretty reliable too. The pink ones or the MC230CR model, in particular, is noteworthy. It has a 20 turn motor limit. So it will also be compatible if you upgrade your motor. 3. Body Now one of my favorite shafts (that customers love) is the TAMIYA RC Frog 2005 Assem Univ. Shaft. It is not crazy expensive and has a very smooth performance. The new ones come with a T-style end. A few more suggestions would be Frog drive shafts, Subaru shafts, and the Monster Beetle ones. 5. Servo Saver and Steering Rods Ball bearings all around. The BF uses 1150 bearings in all places except inside the Transmission. You'll need (2) 850 bearings there. Buy lots of extra 1150 bearings for your wheels. As they get dirty and worn, you'll want to replace them.

Required for completion; 2 Channel Radio System, 1 Servo, Battery and Charger, ABS Paint and Glue for the Body, Tools for assembly. With a Tamiya America RS540 Sport Tuned Brushed Motor, you can get a Tamiya TEU-101BK ESC. These ESCs are cheap, reliable, and go perfectly with the Sport-Tuned motors. This is a pretty cheap option. ESC = the included Tamiya TBLE02 is fine for #3, and can do brushless in the future. It is not waterproof, so if you need that, look into HobbyWing. Some BF drivers have reported that the rear universal CVA drive sometimes comes out of the drive cup. The remedy for this is the 2005 Frog Dogbone drive system. You may also need to add a 3mm spacer inside the rear damper to prevent the arm from rotating so far down that it pulls the drive out of the cup. This is my next project on my BarbieFoot 2... We want to ensure a smooth delivery experience for you, and here are some key details to keep in mind about our service.
