About this deal

If the catch is successful, a message will be displayed in-game indicating that you caught the Pokémon and the Pokémon GO Plus + will vibrate again. The Plus might not give your phone the biggest improvement in battery life, but it's helpful all the same. With the low power Bluetooth protocol used by the device, it's lithium watch battery has lasted a significant amount of time. Poké Balls will not automatically be thrown if you encounter a Pokémon which you’ve never caught before. In that case, you’ll need to either press the main button on your Pokémon GO Plus + or use your smartphone to catch the Pokémon. If you were already looking into investing in a catching device, the Pokémon GO Plus + is the way to go. Its price is only a little higher than other devices, provides great features, and is quite useful in daily gameplay. Its usefulness is immense and it can also be used in the new game, Pokémon Sleep. The only weakness that is unavoidable is the vibration and lights, which is something I have become used to, however, it still may be a problem for you.

By pressing the main button in the center of your Pokémon GO Plus +, you can try to catch any Pokémon that appear. A portable device called the Pokémon GO Plus (sold separately) will enable Pokémon GO players to enjoy the game even while they’re not looking at their smart phones. Compatible with both iOS and Android, Pokémon GO Plus connects to smartphones via Bluetooth low energy and notifies players about nearby Pokémon and PokéStops. When a Pokémon is near, the device will vibrate and its LED will flash green. Players can press the button on the device once close to throw a Poké Ball. A successful catch will result in the device flashing and vibrating. iPhone compatibility: 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7 and 7 Plus (and the Apple Watch Series 2)But the fact is that with the amount that the wearable demands of your attention with its constant buzzing then you might as well just be using the app where you'll be able to choose to dedicate more powerful Pokéballs to it for example. In terms of the exclusive costumed Pokémon, Nightcap Snorlax, the exclusive Special Research is pretty cool and a good bonus. The rewards are good and it is nice to have this cute and rare costumed Snorlax. The Snorlax itself is a great addition, however, the tasks to catch them are quite tedious, which I’ll mention later in the Weaknesses section. Connectivity However, you can only auto-catch with Poke Balls. There was a glitch that previously allowed auto-catching with Great/Ultra Balls, but that has unfortunately been fixed with the 0.277.1 update. You can also reconnect to your Pokémon GO Plus + by tapping the Pokémon GO Plus + icon that appears at the top right of the screen in Map view.

While the fancy new Poké Ball Plus looks amazing from a design standpoint, the Go-tcha Evolve is still the best choice in our opinion. It's durable, comfortable and doesn't look bad, either, and the ability to charge via USB is great. it gets our vote as the ultimate Pokémon GO companion device. So while your battery life will still be impacted by playing Pokémon Go, it shouldn't be nearly as bad when using the wearable. We liked Pokémon Go made a surprise appearance at Apple’s iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 launch event on September 7.

This one isn’t that big of a problem, but sometimes Auto-connect doesn’t particularly work and it doesn’t start auto-catching and auto-spinning straight away. This isn’t too troublesome as you can just disconnect it and reconnect it in Settings to fix the issue. The small gadget features an LED which flashes when a Pokémon or Pokéstop is nearby, accompanied by a vibration. Better still, if it’s a Pokémon you’ve already caught, you can catch it without having to access your phone – just press the button in the centre of the device. Once connected to your iPhone or Android device, Pokémon Go Plus automatically begins to interact with your Pokémon Go or Sleep account. Depending on whether you can collect an item or catch a Pokémon, you get specific notifications through vibrations and flashing lights. Tap the Button-Throw Poké Ball Selection option, then select the variety of Poké Ball you would like to use. Compatible with: Android 4.4 or higher that have Bluetooth® Smart(Bluetooth v4.0 or higher) capability and RAM2GB or more.

The Pokémon Go Plus will also allow you to collect items from PokéStops. When you arrive near a PokéStop, your plus will vibrate, and the light will flash blue. Just like with catching Pokémon, press the button on your Plus to acquire items. Your phone screen will display the items you’ve just acquired. Again, just like when you catch a Pokémon, the light will flash seven different colors. With Pokémon GO, use this accessory to spin PokéStops or throw Poké Balls automatically (and Great Balls and Ultra Balls too!). You can catch Pokémon without even pressing a button! Linking Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon GO will also let you take on Special Research to catch a Snorlax wearing a nightcap. If the performance of your Pokémon GO Plus + seems unstable, it may improve if you update the OS on your smart device. The upshot of it all, other than the fact that even Niantic’s CEO can’t really pronounce Pokémon, is that Nintendo is set to release a companion Pokémon Go app for the new Apple Watch, which will alert you to nearby Pokémon and Pokéstops as well as let you know how far you need to walk to hatch your eggs. These problems are not completely solved by the Plus. The phone still has to use its own GPS, and additionally has to communicate with the device over Bluetooth.
