About this deal

Although ive heard that this book is a bit of "Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story" its still a great read and if youve ever been to Pikes or know the history of the place its well worth a read . To me Tony Pike comes across as a warm individual with a lot of love to give ,to both men and women of the world, and although I was in Ibiza my one big regret is that I didnt visit Pikes . El conta a so storia e noialtri che semo tutti dei mona se alzemo la mattina presto per un casso de lavoro e niente mone foreste. Throw in the odd ship-wreck or two, and readers will agree: This is more than just another great read… its perhaps the greatest hedonistic stories every told. Dubbed the Hugh Hefner of Ibiza, Tony Pikes created a celebrity paradise, which was visited by the likes of Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Kylie Minogue, Julio Iglesias, and more.

Escaping to Australia and using his abundant charms to build connections, businesses and attract an endless stream of women, Tony’s hedonistic shenanigans eventually led him to Ibiza where he bought a 500 year old wreck of a finca which became the infamous Pikes hotel. But for all his faults, there was still something human and likeable about him, and there’s no disputing his ambition, drive and work ethic. However, it seems that he does genuinely love the women who have been part of his life and is most likely just being honest and a bit clumsy with his words.well, now I know everything I’ve ever wanted to know and it’s made me determined I will visit one day and hopefully meet Mr Pike himself, such an iconic place! The narration of this story is great, and the stories about the rich and famous especially Grace Jones and Kenny Everett’s are shocking and entertaining. I don’t think Mr Pike is telling the complete truth about how he made his money but this is definitely worth a listen. Just stories of how many women wanted him, how much dirty money he made, cheating on his wife, dodgy deals, meeting George Michael. Despite being written in a somewhat clunky, basic way, and being peppered with crude references told in Tony’s own words, this book is endlessly intriguing.

On the 3rd of December London’s club scene comes together for ‘Dance For Drama’, an event to drive the fundraiser to raise 60K for Victoria to get some pioneering, life-changing, stem cell treatment in a state of the art clinic in Mexico.Ibiza legend who founded legendary celeb hangout Pikes Ibiza and helped turn island into party paradise”. He bought and sold an island, owned a marina on the Cote d’Azur and had been pals with far eastern royalty. Personally I’d have preferred to sacrifice hearing about some of Tony’s pre-Ibiza escapades to have more of the book given over to additional wild tales from Pikes. His name dropping of the entertainment crowd he attracted with a large flair of misogynistic sexual encounters was repetitive and drearily drab. It is at this point in which he decides that the white island is where he wants to settle down and set about building his very own private paradise, much of it with his own hands and sweat.
