The best way to describe what I am rambling about is to define it more as the same texture as a water based Serum, where you can tell its watery but its thick at the same time. It’s an exfoliating version so it really dried my skin out making it pretty sore, and it can only be used once a day, so I’d avoid this one if you’ve got sensitive skin or want a twice daily toner.

With skincare, it's best to use it for a long while to truly see the benefits of the products that you are using. It smells like rose and can be found in rose oil or in small quantities in geranium, lemon and many other essential oils. For example, in case of AHA or BHA exfoliants, the right pH is super-duper important, and pH adjusters like sodium hydroxide are needed. Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura Vitamin C Hot Cloth Cleanser an eight point five out of ten, the Aldi Lacura Rose Tonic a nine out of ten, and the Aldi Lacura Rose Facial Oil a nine point five out of ten. I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Rosehip Fruit Oil, Sweet Orange Peel Extract, Rose Geranium Oil, and Damask Rose Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Rose Garden on a hot Summer’s Day. However, as someone who used to use the Glow Tonic religiously, I can definitely compare the quality of the products. There’s a balancing effect we saw immediately after use, and we noticed a softness too, plus the residue left on our pad was pretty satisfying.
