Instead, he urges, be curious, ‘ dream your own dreams’ and stand up against those who try to silence.

I haven't charted out my visits for the summer term, but I'm sure there are several in the south) and thanks so much for being so fantastic! Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example.I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. Books like these will for sure will help inspire and shape our next generation and many more after that. To mirror the rich variety of the Black diaspora, this book showcases artwork from Dapo and 18 incredible Black illustrators in one beautiful, powerful, and cohesive reading experience. This book addresses – honestly, yet hopefully – the experiences Black children face growing up with systemic racism, as well as providing hope for the future, delivering a powerful message to a new generation of dreamers.

This picture book is definitely a must read for all those who interact with or have Black youth in their lives.

It's unfortunate because no person should feel this way, but I know that for a lot of Black children and other children of color society makes it much more difficult to believe in yourself. This lyrical picture book is a message to our children, to show them how much we love and cherish them.

It's often easy for us to unite over pain and trauma, but it's also important to unite over joy and happiness. For Art Prints please allow 5 working days for unframed prints and 15 working days for framed prints/ stretched canvas. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally). Nicole was born in the United States, grew up in The Bahamas and currently lives in West Yorkshire (UK) with her pet snake and human boyfriend.

A celebration of life, of being Black - encompassing inspiration and self love, whilst deftly weaving in the tough conversations and always ending on a powerful, heart-felt note. Honest" and "hopeful" have been used to describe this wonderful picture book created by Dapo Adeola (Look Up!
