The inspiration for this liqueur’s creation came after one winter’s night when John and two colleagues were snow bound at a remote distillery with the only sustenance they could find being ginger cake and mandarin oranges which they chased with a dram or two of whisky. A smooth liqueur infused with citrus fruit, spices, Scotch and Bourbon, Famous Grouse Liqueur was produced for only 5 years from 2003 until 2008.
